I stayed here for one night after a flight rescheduling in Vancouver. Let me tell you, this place is total crap. First off, it is not in the best part of town at all (the bad end of hastings street) and the parking garage is not well lit and has no security whatsoever. When we arrived at the front desk, they gave us our room and that part went relatively ok. However, when we got to our room, we found it had not been cleaned from the last guest! The bed was unmade and there were used champagne glasses and part favors (it was new years) on the dresser. We went back down and complained and asked for a new room. The front desk attendant's only response was "oh." and she gave us a new room. No apology or anything! We got up to our new room and found that it reeked of smoke even though they claimed it was non-smoking, and was very run-down looking. After considering very seriously demanding a full refund and going to another hotel, we decided since our plane left in only 5 or 6 hours anyways, we might as well get some rest. We slept on a hard bed in a room that looked like it might have been taken off the set of 'Psycho'. We left very early the next morning. Dont go here. There are plenty other hotels for roughly the same price. I recommend the Holiday Inn Metrotown if you are looking for something in the burnaby/vancouver area.
