Centrally located in Vancouver with good access to the sea wall, Stanley park and downtown shops. Was formerly a Marriott hotel now run as an independent. Elevators are painfully slow and rooms have ok furnishings. Restaurant is ok.

Stayed here prior to a cruise. It's in a great location with easy walking to everything. They also have complimentary bikes for hire on a first come basis. The hotel is a little dated in decor however the rooms are large, very comfortable and so quiet. We slept very well. The staff are delightful and a definite asset to the hotel. It was especially nice to see slightly more mature staff around rather than students or overseas employees! The concierge guys were really helpful and polite as were the breakfast staff. Really pleasant! We would stay here again - breakfast was delicious

We arrived in Vancouver Labor Day weekend as the last leg of a North West US trip. We had booked the hotel through our UK travel operator in January and were surprised when reception seemed to be struggling to find us a room. We were given a disabked access room on the 4th floor which was dark and depressing. When we returned to reception to ask to change it we were given a light and spacious room on 15th floor. It was clean and comfortable with in room safe, fridge and coffee facilities. We didn't eat in the hotel but the bar area looked great with harbour views. We found the staff helpful and approachable. The only slight downside was that the room doors are heavy and loud when they close so we were aware of other guests leaving and arriving late at night and eatly in the morning. This wouldn't prevent us from recommending the hotel though.

This hotel is in a good position but we found it very noisy, inside and out. Room fairly large but small beds. Reasonably comfortable but quite tired. Very easy to walk along the harbour and can walk to most of town attractions.

Room tip: Rooms on road are noisy

We could hear the elevator moving loudly between floors. It was so bad that we had to use a white noise app on my phone in order to sleep. Also, the cleaning staff entered our room even though we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, which I feel is a violation of our privacy.
