Staff were pleasant and always helpful. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Decor slightly dated. Internet connectivity adequate excellent WiFi coverage everywhere in the hotel. Three Starbucks within 5 minutes walking, oatmeal, egg sandwich and coffee for less than $10.00.. Harborside trail to Stanley Park and Vancouver Convention Center just a minute walk from the hotel. Experienced a key access problem accessing room and fitness facility x3 one morning, door man had to open door to my room, thanks Bob! Dining room overlooks Coal Harbor great place to view Harbor Air float planes landing and taxing.

Overall great value. Definitely a keeper!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the harbor on a floor 10+ King size bed was comfy and roomy.

I had a rather long stay at this hotel thanks to work and the staff there made my stay. Everyone from the receptionists to bar staff to cleaners were so cheery and upbeat!

The room itself was one of the corner rooms on the 9th floor, so I only had a very limited view of the water. I had the opportunity to check out one of the harbour view rooms and they are spectacular; I would definitely ask for one of these rooms in future. The bed was just so soft and comfy. I wish I could take it home with me. Other facilities were: coffee machine, safe, ironing board and iron, desk, laundry service, hair dryer.

Room service and service in the restaurant / bar were both impeccable. Great range of food as well and some nice local Granville Island beers. If you're staying a while like I was, there's an Urban Fare supermarket / deli on the next block that does really nice takeaway meals and groceries.

The only downside was expensive in-room wifi. $15.95 a day! It's free in the lobby though.

I would definitely stay here if I was returning to Vancouver.

Room Tip: Water view on the higher floors are the best.

This hotel is older and you can tell from some areas of the room; however, they have new furniture and it was very clean. I was lucky enough to be on the 18th floor with a harbourside view and it was outstanding!

The location is really central downtown, walking distance to restaurants, shops, attractions etc.

For what you pay for I think there are other hotels that I prefer more (Sheraton, pan pacific...), but by no means is this a "bad" choice.

My wife and I began our Honeymoon with a six day stay at this hotel.

We were booked into a Harbour View room, and we were delighted with the view across the harbour to Stanley Park, and the snow capped mountains beyond.

The staff were extremely friendly from the moment we arrived, especially the bar and restaurant staff who kept us supplied with wine most evenings.

Food in the hotel was quite expensive for what it was, but the hotel is within about 10 minutes walking distance of a range of downtown and harbour front eateries so this wasn't really a problem for us.

The sights and attractions of downtown Vancouver were within easy reach of the hotel which makes it a great base for exploration. In addition, the Seaplane Terminal is 2 minutes walk from the hotel door and offers the chance to go exploring the wider BC district such as Victoria etc.

The hotel pool and gym were basic but good enough to get by with for a couple of days. Could be a bit of a let down if you were travelling alone on business for any length of time.

If you're looking for somewhere with the feel of a downtown hotel, but without the hustle and bustle then I'd recommend this for you.

Room Tip: Harbour View rooms have stunning views. Remember to shut windows at night however unless you want to be awoken by seaplane engines at 6:30am!
