I had a rather long stay at this hotel thanks to work and the staff there made my stay. Everyone from the receptionists to bar staff to cleaners were so cheery and upbeat!

The room itself was one of the corner rooms on the 9th floor, so I only had a very limited view of the water. I had the opportunity to check out one of the harbour view rooms and they are spectacular; I would definitely ask for one of these rooms in future. The bed was just so soft and comfy. I wish I could take it home with me. Other facilities were: coffee machine, safe, ironing board and iron, desk, laundry service, hair dryer.

Room service and service in the restaurant / bar were both impeccable. Great range of food as well and some nice local Granville Island beers. If you're staying a while like I was, there's an Urban Fare supermarket / deli on the next block that does really nice takeaway meals and groceries.

The only downside was expensive in-room wifi. $15.95 a day! It's free in the lobby though.

I would definitely stay here if I was returning to Vancouver.

Room Tip: Water view on the higher floors are the best.

This hotel is older and you can tell from some areas of the room; however, they have new furniture and it was very clean. I was lucky enough to be on the 18th floor with a harbourside view and it was outstanding!

The location is really central downtown, walking distance to restaurants, shops, attractions etc.

For what you pay for I think there are other hotels that I prefer more (Sheraton, pan pacific...), but by no means is this a "bad" choice.

My wife and I began our Honeymoon with a six day stay at this hotel.

We were booked into a Harbour View room, and we were delighted with the view across the harbour to Stanley Park, and the snow capped mountains beyond.

The staff were extremely friendly from the moment we arrived, especially the bar and restaurant staff who kept us supplied with wine most evenings.

Food in the hotel was quite expensive for what it was, but the hotel is within about 10 minutes walking distance of a range of downtown and harbour front eateries so this wasn't really a problem for us.

The sights and attractions of downtown Vancouver were within easy reach of the hotel which makes it a great base for exploration. In addition, the Seaplane Terminal is 2 minutes walk from the hotel door and offers the chance to go exploring the wider BC district such as Victoria etc.

The hotel pool and gym were basic but good enough to get by with for a couple of days. Could be a bit of a let down if you were travelling alone on business for any length of time.

If you're looking for somewhere with the feel of a downtown hotel, but without the hustle and bustle then I'd recommend this for you.

Room Tip: Harbour View rooms have stunning views. Remember to shut windows at night however unless you want to...

I stayed here for 5 nights while attending a conference at the Convention Center. Location is excellent, within 1.5 short blocks to the convention center. It is also less than a 10 min walk from the Waterfront station on the Canada line. $9 day pass to take me from YVR to the hotel and free public transportation for the day.
Exercise room is pretty good- treadmills, elliptical, weights, free granny smith apples :) There's also a pool which I did not try.
Room is clean and spacious,,,Bed is comfortable. there' a small refrigerator and safe.
Staff is friendly. Lobby is very small/basic. Hop on hop-off trolley stops right across the hotel. I did not try the restaurant becuase I ate all my meals at the convention center. Everything is good but I am only giving it a 3 star rating because I think the price is a bit high for the value.

This hotel has a great location and is close to the convention center and everything in downtown. The staff is very pleasant. The rooms (and the city) are very clean with all expected amenities. The bar and restaurant downstairs is good, if a bit overpriced. They have great views though! Fitness and pool area was standard. Received free internet with my package and it works well. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a bay view room and not a city view. The Marriott across the street has this huge exhaust fan t...

My friend & I recently stayed at this Hotel. The Hotel Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a great view with Balcony and was exceptionally clean and nicely furnished. The location was accessible to alot of shopping and restaurants as well as neighborhood markets. Easily walkable to Stanley Park and Gastown. I would highly recommend staying at this Hotel.
