We were fortunate enough to get an amazing room on one of the higher floors. I believe it was the 14th floor. The room was great, but more amazing were the VIEWS. Please see my photos! My cousin and her husband ended up hanging out in our room because the views were so amazing!

Room Tip: Get a room on one of the higher floors and ask for one that has a view of the harbor.

We arrived after a skiing holiday in Whistler and was upgraded to a larger room! The front desk lady went out of her way to accommodate my wife and our triplets! The room was spacious, comfortable, clean although the bathroom especially the tub could have been better. On the whole we truly appreciated the convenient location on Robson. We will definately return again if we visit Vancouver.

We had an issue with very noisy pipes that woke up our whole family near midnight. However, the manager was wonderful and arranged to promptly move us to a different room and provided wonderful service. We visit Vancouver often and now would have no hesitation staying here again, thanks to the manager, Paul. Very convenient location, spacious rooms, and the breakfast exceeded our expectation - delicious! The staff was always friendly and courteous.

Arrived very late in the evening after a flight back to YVR. While I was away, the remainder of our family stayed for an urban getaway and let me know that the Blue Horizon Hotel is a fantastic property at a great price.

Upon arrival had a lovely, warm welcome from the Front Desk staff. The BC Resident rate was outstandingly low. The high floor room had great nightscape views of the city towards English Bay and in the morning enjoyed the daylight version.

The bed was comfortable and afforded a great night's sleep. It was quiet and I slept like a log.

Asked for a late checkout and was offered a 1 pm departure. Thank you!

Liked all the upgraded touches and tasteful décor. The only thing out of place was the pink bathtub, otherwise lovely and modern.

Location across from the Japanese Konbiniya and so popped over for a few onigiri for lunch. Excellent.

Love the location and stayed many times at the Pacific Pallisades (sadly, no more). Glad to have found a new choice in the Robson Street area and our family will continue to stay at the Blue Horizon and recommend this property to all seeking a clean, spacious room in the centre of Downtown with great views of English Bay and in a neighbourhood with outstanding restaurant options.

Just returned from a visit to the Blue Horizon. Staff were courteous, the room was generous, the view expansive and the location super convenient. Did I mention affordability? Off the charts. Maybe this was an off-season deal but staying on the 25th floor for $120 was amazing value. Parking was only $20, a great price for the area, and the pass ran until 3 pm the following day allowing me to leave it in the lot while I shopped after checking out. I'll be back.

Room Tip: Pay a little more for the upper floors. The view is amazing.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Vancouver for a short time and wish to wlak the centre of town. Good and comfortable rooms, clean and well appointed with outstanding front desk service.
Walking right on to "Robson strasse" is a big plus and having some of the best restaurants and city venues at 5 minutes walking distance all around is wonderful.
Good value and good location does it for us. We will be back again.

Hotel has 30 floors, 4 elevators and a Restaurant/Coffee shop adjoining Reception and was very affordable for location in the heart of the CBD. All public and guest areas clean and attractive. Easy walking to Fashion Retail, Restaurants, Stanley Park. Public parking venue in complex and our undercover guest parking was $16 + taxes a day. At check-in Reception staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. We were a Family group of 2 couples and had a very large room on 26th floor and smaller, but still spacious room on 29th floor, both with a balcony. Sensational views from both but were assigned 29th floor room particularly for keen photographer husband who was ecstatic about 180 degrees views from it. Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, the Harbour all visible. Outstanding, especially at dusk and very early morning. Loved watching the Empire Hotel dining room rotating. Vancouver is an extremely pretty city for the high concentration of high-rise buildings which are softened by the beautiful harbour, seafront and parks. Rooms clean, spacious, air-conditioned, fit-out and furnishings tasteful, desk and TV chair, very comfortable bed, safe, coffee-maker, bathrobes supplied, good storage in bathroom, wall mounted TV, wraparound windows gave excellent light and views. No microwave but a mini frig. The restaurant/coffee shop was very popular and convenient. Hotel was perfect and very enjoyable for short stay in Vancouver.

Room Tip: Higher floors enable outstanding views over city centre out to Harbour.
