Description: We are Vancouver's only First Nations restaurant. We specialize in wild fish, free range game meat and of course bannock, freshly baked daily. We use traditional ingredients that we prepare and present in a modern way. In our small casual bistro everyone is welcome as they are. In the spirit of First Nations' traditions, our intention is to provide a gathering place where the focus is on the people and the food. Inez (Nuxalk Nation) and Remi Owners

We'd never heard of the place before our friends arrived from Germany and told us they read about it on Tripadvisor. So happy we made a reservation. It's a small place and that added to the whole character of the experience. We had never eaten native Canadian food and we were not disappointed. For an out of the ordinary experience, go to Salmon n' Bannock.

We walked to this quaint little restaurant to find out we needed a reservation. Fortunately, they found a way to get us in. Our server was so delightful and real. I would go back just for her, BUT the food was UNBELIEVABLE! We started with a safe smoked salmon appetizer roasted cherries on a bed of greens and fennel. I can see why it's the #1 rated restaurant.

We visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. Staff was exceptional - warm, friendly and professional. Food and wine were both great. Space is intimate and inviting. Highly recommended for a quiet dinner or dinner with a group of friends. Reservations recommended.

After reading other good reviews we decided to make this our last restaurant before we leave Vancouver. Great choice! The food was fantastic, service was excellent and facilities were clean. The street view of this restaurant does not impress, but the food is great, wine is delightfully and service friendly and prices very reasonable. The menu is very different too with some family unique foods but the uniqueness was not the strong point. The tastes and flavours of all the ingredients was great.
Great meal from 3 travelling Aussies.

This restaurant is well located along broadway, very easy to find and to get to. The staff is very friendly and will help you to go through the menu. ingredients are both fresh and local. We ate two starters (salmon and game), one main course (bison and prawn), two sweets and a bottle of merlot rom okanagan which turned out to be very good. The bill was 130 dollars. We will be back to try the sandwiches.
