We included the Teahouse as part of a pre-holiday trip to Vancouver and Victoria. Being late December, the road through the park was dark and winding, adding a bit to the mystery of a new location. We had a lovely table in the Conservatory, sort of like a green house. We could see the lights across the bay, and the building was well lit for Christmas. Our meal was excellent. We had a filet that was perfectly cooked to our order, and pre-sliced into three horizontal sections, making it much easier to manage on the plate. The only hitch was our waitress was a bit reserved early on but warmed up at the evening went on. I know individual trips to a location can be a test of luck, but our luck was good and we had a most enjoyable dinner. Half the fun by the way was watching other waiters work their tables with a combination of banter, good advice on food and wine, and a general good nature.
