Good fish dishes and salads. A litle old-fashioned decor but clean and appealing. Nouveau cuisine with tablecloths (and excellent Bloody Caesars). Pleasant observant staff who let you take your time. Moderately priced.

My partner and I dined here a few weeks ago. The service and ambience was excellent. Server was polite, professional, and very attentive, even though there was a wedding party and very busy, Our main course was excellent, the salad - superb! Dessert excellent as well. The Clam Chowder, however was very skimpy considering the cost of it. A big bowl with hardly any soup in it. (A sampler for $9!) Walking in with no reservation around 8:00pm, we were offered a wonderful table by the fireplace. We could still catch a nice view from where we were sitting. Will be sure to return, but probably won't be ordering the soup!

My wife and I dined here during a recent visit to Vancouver. It was a warm summer evening and we were going to go somewhere else to dine, but ended up at The Teahouse. No reservations but we arrived at 8 in the evening and got seating outside. The tables are small for two but the setting is fantastic. Heaters are nicely spaced around the tables to take off the chill. My wife and I used to go to Stanley Park frequently when we were teenagers dating, so this was special for us. We had casual food, pasta and pizza. It was very good - a little pricey but that is what you expect here. The inside seating seemed to be for larger groups. Service was attentive but not overly so, just right. I would recommend a reservation if you wish to be seated during a busy time. After dinner, take a walk along the seawall a short ways or a long ways to second or third beach if you like. You should go, this will make your trip to Vancouver memorable. Parking is somewhat limited but there are pay parking lots everywhere.

The Teahouse has fabulous food, outstanding service and a gorgeous view. It's equally appropriate for an intimate meal or a large family gathering. It's also kid-friendly!
