There are not many hotels where I find myself in complete agreement with all of the positive reviews. The St. Regis is one of them. The staff is excellent and provided very personalized service. We arrived about 9:30am, after disembarking from our Alaskan cruise, for a 3 night stay. In fact there were several couples like us checking in at that time and though it was a bit crowded in the lobby they took care of us almost immediately. It was too early to get a room but they took our bags and promised to have them brought to our room for us when it was ready, which they did. During our stay they made reservations for us for a Victoria-Butchart Gardens tour, and taxi to the airport, and left confirming letters in our room so we did not have to double check.

Our room was very well appointed, modern, comfortable, and clean. The bathroom even had a heated tile floor which was great for those middle of the night visits. As others have said, the location is very good in downtown Vancouver. We were on the third floor and although we did hear some street noise, it was nothing to keep you up. Vancouver did seem to quiet down at night unlike larger cities such as New York or Chicago.

The included breakfast was very good. This was not a buffet but was served to you. Choices were limited but heck, this was included.

Overall, a first class hotel; great place to stay and a great value considering the service and amenities.

We stayed here in May 2014 for 2 nights at the beginning of a 3 week road trip around the Rockies - and again for 2 nights at the end in June. A great location. Easy walk from the Skytrain and into Waterfront or Gas Town. Smart room with a quality feel to the bed linen and the décor. Included breakfast was huge and tasty. The reception staff were really very good and actively went out of their way to make sure you had all the information you needed. Would definitely recommend.

Great night in Vancouver before heading out on a cruise to Alaska. The staff at the St. Regis is amazing. Simple touches like a welcome note from the manager in my room upon arrival to the fresh fruit in the lobby, free wifi and international calls, full breakfast, and the super soft bathrobes and soaker tubs in the rooms made the stay such a pleasure, The location is perfect for visiting downtown, gastown, and walking to the cruise terminal. I highly recommend and will stay here again! Thank you, St. Regis!

We were so lucky to have found this hotel. It was very central to everything in Downtown Vancouver and our room was lovely. Though not huge is was very comfortable and pristine clean with a view of a maple tree and the street outside which we loved! It had everything we needed and the bathroom was stylish and modern with a big shower. The staff were outstanding - Juan, Gary and the team on the reception desk were always incredibly helpful and friendly and we really felt the hotel was a home from home while we were staying there (for 10 days). The breakfast was fabulous and was included in the overall price and the serving staff were also very friendly. It was great value for what it offers and we liked the colourful artwork on the walls too! Free wi-fi and international phone calls were also a pleasant bonus as these days you expect to have to pay for everything. We definitely plan to stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Vancouver.

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor with a window facing onto a maple tree and the street below. Although this...

Great 2 night stay in Vancouver. The staff was the best part. Greeted us by our name each time we entered the lobby. Helped with food recommendations. Printed out menus and maps. So nice! Rooms are very comfortable. Nice large bathrooms.

Free wifi and great breakfast with a big variety that is included in your stay.
Definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed only one night but would be very pleased to stay again. We will return to Vancouver and we will stay at the St. Regis again then. We just hopped off a top-of-the-line luxury cruise ship, so we were pretty accustomed to superior service when we checked-in. Even so, we were surprised and delighted by just about everything here (more on the only exception below).

The hotel is very well located for downtown visitors and close to all major mass transit so you can get anywhere from there easily. Rooms (we stayed in a Jr. suite) were roomy, attractive and spotless. Free wi-fi, Fiji water, and a good full breakfast etc. No annoying nickel and dime tactics. It was an entirely enjoyable stay and well worth the money.

The management was the best I can remember seeing. Courteous and professional yet somehow warm too. We were full of questions – unusually needy since we really hadn’t done our research on the city before arriving. Everyone was great – a joy to talk to. Juan was the person who spent the most time with us, and you’d be lucky if he is on-duty when you stay there because he was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

One important tip: Be sure to get a room on a high floor. We were on the 1st floor (directly above the lobby) and street noise was a real challenge. Annoyed as I was about this, I still have to give the place a 5 star rating. Everything within the power of hotel management (they cannot control ambient street noise) was done perfectly… just stay up high to avoid the racquet.

Room Tip: get a room on a high floor to escape street noise

From making reservation and communicating prior to arrival, this experience was near perfection.

Accommodations very nice and so clean. Everyday spent here was amazing and we were well taken care of from housekeeping to concierge!

So thrilled we found this hotel to stay while in Vancouver. So centrally located to everything. Rented bikes one day and rode all over Stanley Park. Everything was well within walking distance.

Again thank you for a lovely place for our home away from home at your establishment while visiting Vancouver severL days prior to our cruise!
