We were in Vancouver for a conference and stayed for 6 nights. This a boutique hotel in the heart of Vancouver. We had a beautiful corner room on the 2nd floor with window facing the fron street and the side street. 11 minute walk to the Convention Center and the Port (Canada Place). The hotel service was excellent, from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the restaurant staff. They were friendly, courteous and helped us with all our questions and needs. Great value because for the cost of the room we got free Wi-Fi, free bottled water, free local and International calls and a free cook to order breakfast every morning. The room was very nice, clean and updated. Like all city center hotels you do hear some sounds from the street below in the mornings and late night on the weekends. If this is a problem for you ask for a room to the rear. Also, if you like Morton's or Smith & Wollensky try Gotham Steakhouse in the hotel. We ate there twice and our server Corey not only gave us great service but was full of information about BC. There are all kinds of restaurants all around the hotel, including a mall food court a block away for something quick. We had a great time in Vancouver and will be back and will stay at the St Regis.

Room Tip: If you don't like the sounds from the city center ask for a rear facing room.

Excellent facilities & rooms. Quiet despite central location. Customer service exceptional - they took time to respond to me as an individual and made me feel like a valued customer. Great location for getting around in Vancouver

We had a wonderful stay at the St.Regis. We had a beautiful corner room on the fifth floor. The hotel definitely has a boutique feel. We stayed at the end of a cruise and in spite of the hills it was a fairly easy walk from Canada Place. We arrived on a Sunday morning and wanted to start sightseeing. Our luggage was stored and then it was in our room when we arrived back later in the afternoon. They also stored our luggage on the last day. There is a private liquor store next door and they even offer free delivery. As well you are "served" a full hot breakfast each day. We also ate in their bar one night-food and service were excellent. We loved Vancouver and we loved the St.Regis!!!

This was my second stay at the St. Regis, both times over 5 nights. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Convention center, shopping and dining. The St. Regis Bar & Grill was the best food I had all week! To bad I didn't "discover" it until the last night! The front desk and service were impeccable. When I called with a request, they were right on it. The complimentary cook to order Breakfast each morning was a great way to start my day. Love free WiFi & international calls!! I was a single woman traveling alone and I felt very safe and looked after.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room, they are just a bit larger. The higher floor rooms may have a bit less traffic noise.

The location is good, with many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The beds and linens are very comfortable. For those not on an expense account, it's nice that many amenities are free (water bottles, breakfast, internet, phone calls...). The price is not cheap but not out of line for the area. Attentive service. The rooms are small, so this is better for business travel than family travel. My one quibble is that the phone sound quality was very poor.
