the service at this hotel was very professional I did find that the room was not nearly as nice as on the photos, eventhough we were upgraded to a nicer room. the room was clean and tidy however, which in the end is more important than nice decor. and the price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The art work was interesting.

This distinctive 'Art' hotel in the centre of the most famous shopping district since Rodeo Drive, offers a calm oasis in the heart of Vancouver. Situated halfway between the entertainment district and world famous Stanley Park, it offers a variety of options and several room choices on distinct floors, all revolving around it's original art collections, both contemporary and Northwest First Nations. With an eco-initiative in place, a gallery and award winning new resto called Forage on the ground floor, it offered everything I'm interested in when traveling. I am especially interested in the Artist Series Suites for my next visit. http://www.thelistelhotel.com/rooms/artistsuites.php

The Standard King corner room we were given had a large balcony which you don't often get at these reasonable prices, and in summer it would be quite wonderful in the sun, sipping wine and street watching, above the famous international shopping district. The room was large, renovated, exceptionally clean, totally adequate by most standards, was quiet, had a very comfortable bed, superb linens and pillow selection, free wifi, large flat screen tv, a table for two, good armchairs, and a well appointed bathroom with bright dressing area outside of it. I understand that the BC and Museum suites on the upper floors are also very lovely and feature bespoke hemlock furniture and art from the Pacific Northwest.

Room service from Forage is not offered 24/7, in fact, the hours seemed limited, however as I was with my three year old granddaughter and not able to leave the room late at night, hotel room service was most helpful and offered to pick up my meal and deliver it personally..and that was a huge treat because the food itself was exceptional and should not be missed! Shout out to Josephine and Charles!

I booked last minute on a Vancouver Tourism promotion and had some difficulty obtaining the promo'd Amex card offered with the room, until I contacted Andrea in charge of Listel's Customer Service, who graciously and immediately credited me without a fuss. Often once the deal is done, one often has difficulty obtaining satisfaction, but to her credit, she understood the situation and took care of it.

I would not hesitate to stay again at the Listel Hotel and can't wait to try more interesting menu items at Forage, a sustainable farm to table treat! http://www.foragevancouver.com/

Room Tip: I loved the sunny corner suite with the big deck!

Great location, I was able to get a night here for much less then comparative hotels. Well decorated in the lobby, the room is adequately comfortable. No complaints. One huge bonus is that they opened "Stephos" across the street. This is probably the best Greek place to go to in Vancouver (they have two restaurants now I think).

Stayed for St.Patrick's day. It was close enough to walk to where we wanted to go, but it did take us about 15-20 minutes to hit the entertainment district.

Tips: There is street parking that is free after 10pm until 8am all around the hotel. You can only buy 2 hours at a time at a cost of around $4 (Which you can pay remotely with an app or call), we ended paying $8 total overnight for street parking.

Stephos across the street is a great place to eat. You'll notice it likely has a line for dinner, but for lunch the next day, you can't beat some of the best souvlaki, with tons of left overs for $10.

We loved our stay. Staff were amazing, beds comfortable and the complimentary french press in the morning was a great touch. Great location, equal distance to seawall or shopping. Good food at the hotel restaurant but only open limited hours during the week - lots of other places around to eat though.

one night stop over, great location for restaurant choices, walk or drive but parking is big additional cost anywhere in this area. We were able to park on street but on busy night you will need to use parking lot which will add another $35

I booked this hotel through TravelZoo for 99 CAD. Not only was it great value, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was. It was larger than I expected, and very clean and tastefully furnished. My boyfriend also thought the same. We would both stay here again and recommend it to others. Also, the hotel restaurant where we went to have our complimentary welcome drinks that came with the TravelZoo voucher was excellent! We dined there after seeing the menu, seeing how well the presentation was on the dishes passing by, and the awards posted on the wall by the front entrance. Would definitely come back to this restaurant too (The Forage).

Staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It is in a great location on Robson. We were able to use the oversize vehicle parking and still be downtown. The room was excellent as was the service.
