“Awesome entry and location into Stanley Park”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

During the summer it is amazing how many people lay out and enjoy English Bay. We happened to be there during one of the Firework competitions and they said over 400,000 people had walked down to the various waterfront locations to watch the event. It was simply amazing and I have to say that the Vancouverites? know how to have a good time!

“Honda fireworks”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

Thousands of people turn up for fireworks at 10-00 pm 31/7 and 2/8 . We saw them on Saturday 26 July - we have friends who have 19th flloor apartment so had great view but the crowd on the beach looked to be enjoying themselves

“It was worthwhile enough”
Reviewed July 27, 2014

It certainly is not as beautiful as some of the great seaside cities of the world (such as Sydney) but it was still pleasant enough to spend a couple of hours walking around. We got off the trolley at Stanley Park and walked to False Creek Ferry Stop ( the Ferry to Granville Island) and everyone in our party enjoyed the experience

“a must see while in Vancouver”

English Bay is breathtaking with the water, anchored cargo freighters, sailboats, the city and the marvelous mountains.

“Lovely”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

Be sure to leave some time to walk along the seawall next to English Bay, after you visit the West End. Fewer oil rigs spoil your vision than in the Burrard Inlet, and the seawall walk is lovely. Make time, too, for amusing sculpture at the intersection of Davie and Denman Streets before you start your walk along the Bay -- great for adults but it will especially fascinate kids.
