We stayed at a House just off this Bay; the beach was nice, not too crowded, and fun! The water was pretty cold, but I still managed to take a dip. So many smiling faces here, and so close to where we stayed! Wish we could have spent more time at Kitslano Beach

The English Bay is a cosy place where people that live here don't have to go to other places.

There is everything that people will need such as dental care, hair care, groceries, restaurants, banks, bicycle rental shops, and pleasant walks & wonderful scenery.

Included in English Bay is Stanley Park where all of the people who live here have a charmed life. They can get up in the morning here and go to Stanley Park for the whole day.

Because of the daylight hours, they don't have to return home until 9p.m.

Standing down by the water, you can see huge sea vessels and sailboats mingling out in the water. One day, I saw a large group of people paddle boarding across the bay near the horizon; I have never seen such a sight before!

On the 27th of July this year, there will be a fireworks event going on at night. Thousands of people will gather and the city will close the roads to give people the freedom to stand in the streets while watching the great fireworks event.

Of all of Canada, Vancouver has the attraction of Stanley Park for people to come and enjoy. You can enjoy a short one hour visit of English Bay and you can also enjoy a long 3 hour visit, especially during the month of July.

well the only thing I did not like was not enough parking. but the bay was simply breath taking. no matter whether you are swimming, riding a bike, walking, water surfing, boating, volley ball or skating, they have it all. it was so breath taking you could relax for hours just looking at the mountains people watching and walking.

Beautiful place but extremely busy late afternoon and early evening. Much quieter in the morning. Good place to people watch, have a barbeque, swim and other physical activities.

You have to go there and see the sunset behind the wonderful mountains. You will see many locals and visitors alike enjoying themselves. We just loved it!
