Great area with wonderful harbour views and plenty of places to walk around or sit with a drink etc. There are permanent shops with unique art and craft as well as market stalls with all sorts of foods. Live entertainment and a place for the whole family. Quite crowded but has an exciting vibe. Good value for money ethnic eateries and quality souveniers. A must visit.

Lovely part of town with an awesome enclosed public market and numerous shops and galleries. Can easily spend a half a day here. Lots of eateries at the public market.

My wife & I spent the afternoon on Granville Island and the atmosphere was relaxed compared to the crowds shopping elsewhere. Despite the rain, it still retains a beautiful ambiance and a down to earth feel.
The market is a great place for a snack...try the date bars were excellent! the artisan breads and homemade soaps were delightful.

We had dinner at the Keg & were waited on with a conscientious skill! Be sure to sit upstairs for a warm and comfortable dining experience.

We then took in a classic play at the Arts Club. "It's a Wonderful Life" - was a fantastic classic done on a great set with some dedicated actors. Thanks you for that wonderful night!

it's a cornucopia of sights, smells, and sounds. The fresh produce amazes. The fresh flowers are inspiring. Food selection is also broad and usually quick. Buskers when weather permits
