Owner description: Situated on Little Mountain - the highest point in Vancouver proper - this former rock quarry has been converted into a beautiful city park with flower gardens, public art, grassy knolls, and panoramic views over the city.

Spent an afternoon walking through the gardens. Beautiful place but Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. So many places were ideal for peaceful reflection but large crowds prevented full enjoyment. Try to visit mid week if possible - maybe not during high season, though I realize flowers may not be in full bloom. Much shouting, laughter and animated photography during our visit. Hard to enjoy the peace of the place.

A little space for peace and quiet, with fantastic views. Not so big there's danger of getting lost.

This is a lovely place to visit. The gardens and views are gorgeous. This would be a fantastic place to do a photo shoot or spend an afternoon with family. Relaxing if it is not crowded with tourists!

This park is at a high elevation and has a great view of downtown Vancouver. Has some very pretty gardens and the Bloedel Consservatory was very nice as well.

QE Park is a great place to visit year-round. The view of the city is amazing and the quarry flowers are wonderful - especially in the summer. It's very populary with locals - especially wedding couples having their photos taken. It is accessible by public transit, or by car (paid parking though). The park has tennis courts and a pitch and putt for those wanting extra entertainment. There is also a wonderful restaurant - with great views - if you are there at mealtime.
