“More flowers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2014

this park has lots to offer. Views of the city, flowers, and waterfronts. the view of the city is not as good anymore due to the trees getting bigger but the park has many other opportunities for sightseeing. Parking is the only fee unless you go into the other attractions.

“Smell the Roses”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2014

This is another city park that is worth visiting if you like flowers. There is a terrific rose garden. There are manicured gardens in the small and large quarry areas. There is a beautiful restaurant with spectactular views.

“Dinner at seasons”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2014

beautiful view of the city - great place to have dinner and then take family pictures. Food was good as was the service, but I did find it was too loud inside, because so many people were there.

“Spectacular city park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2014

This park is really spectacular with respect to flowers, gardens, lawns, etc., quite similar to Butchart Gardens in Victoria. In fact, like Butchart, the main part of the park, which has been filled with so many beautiful flowers and plants, used to be a quarry, hence it is very deep, which emphasizes the overall majestic effect when viewed from on high. The conservatory is being repaired (new roof in spring-summer of 2014) and it has an entrance fee, whereas the remainder of this beautiful park is free.

“For garden lovers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

Flowers and plants buffs, you have to go there. Peaceful park with beautifully arranged gardens. Go in the morning to see all these elders do tai-chi and other exercises.
