This was my first Stay at a Four Seasons. Very disappointing. Stayed 3 nights. I should have insisted on changing hotels after the first night. There were many problems with my room. Was offered some fruit and a bad attitude for my inconvenience. The front desk was rude and dismissed my complaint as unimportant. However, the bed itself was extremely comfortable.

I was told by one of the many engineers that came to my room to fix things, that the rooms were recently renovated. They need to iron out more of the kinks especially before the Winter games in February

I took my mom here for a shopping trip. The shopping at Holt Refrew was awful(what has happened to them?) but our stay at the hotel was lovely. The service was impeccable. We really enjoyed eating healthy Tapas at the restaurant and the service was very friendly. The rooms are not awe-inspiring especially compared to the Seattle Four Seasons. They are comfortable and quiet but not worth the price. I would stay here again if Vancouver had better shopping for anyone over a size 6.

Just returned from a stay prior to leaving for an Alaskan cruise. Very nice hotel, upgraded to an premium executive suite for 520 but watch out for the taxes in vancouver! They are a real surprise at the end. Nice touches included personalized cookies with milk for the kids at check in, even though we didn't get in til midnight. They loved it. Location, gym, pool all were very good as was the service. wish at these rates at least they could throw in free internet.

Overall this was a great hotel. We were there from June 9-11, 2008 and there was a nice pool (indoor and outdoor). The restaurant downstairs had good food. The hotel is connected to a mall. This hotel was great and I will stay there when I go back.

We stayed for a week in Vancouver at Four Seasons. The hotel is located in the downtown just above one of the best shopping centre. The breakfast is very good with a great variety of fruit and cakes, which also suits the European tastes.
The room is very nice, with a fabulous bed, so comfortable that you would like to bring it home.
The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean.
A complain is about the swimming pool, which is half indoor and half outdoor. Some days the weather was too cold for our taste, so not so nice to have a swim. Also the Wi-fi connection is too expensive.

Great bar/restaurant Yue!
Great service, and location
but the rooms itself were a little disappointing for the price and the fact that its a 5 star hotel
Connected to the mall which is very nice as well as convenient

When you hear the name Four Seasons, you expect the ultimate luxury and service. But, I just did not get that at the Four seasons Vancouver. Everything was ok but not spectacular. Negatives:
1-They charged us $7.50 for a bottle of water!
2- No complimentary coffee in the room
3- No wireless internet in the room
4- Very small business center with only two computers, always had to wait and only get 15 monutes at a time.
5- only one restaurant (yew) in the entire hotel, although it is a nice one
6- No airport shuttle
7- Very limited choice of TV stations. No ESPN, TNT, CNBC, etc
Positives
-location
-the most comfortable mattresses I have slept on!
-complimentary shoe-shine sevice
-Decent fitness facility
Overall, if you get a rate under $200, it is not such a bad deal given the location. On the other hand, if you are looking for a majorly plush hotel, you will be disappointed.
