I've been to a number of aquariums and this is one of the best. They have lots of interesting marine life (and even some non-marine life like parrots & marmosets). They have shows (dolphins, sea lions, beluga whale). Get to the shows 10 - 15 minutes early or you be able to see. There is a 4D movie theatre at no extra cost (be on time as they start the shows precisely on time & there is no admittance once the show has started).

I'd plan on 2 -3 hours, especially if you have little ones. There is a decent eatery on sight. Cost is $25/adult + parking. It is located in Stanley Park in downtown Vancouver so be mindful of coming or going during rush hour.

My family went to the Aquarium today. We have not been since the expansion and new parts. We really enjoyed it. We saw the 4D Movie (Included in Ticket price) and it was spongebob. The 3D Graphics where great and the 4D Part was great too. We really had a fun time!

This aquarium was briiiiant, it was quite emotional to see dolphins and the beluga whales , you have to go see the beluga show, if your're prepared to get wet then sit in the splash zone , we did it was really funny. Only wished we went earlier, as it closed at five

I have been to aquariums throughout the world, and the Vancouver Aquarium is the best, although being Canadian, I may be more than a little biased.

Best part of the exhibits were the interactive shows, and also the numerous Jellyfish tanks. I loved the Canadian-focused exhibits that showed habitats throughout BC and quite close to VanCity.

Highly professional staff and clean facilities. Highly recommended

What a fantastic day we had at Vancouver Aquarium. The dolphin show was spectacular and the numerous tanks and displays were fascinating to see. You can easily spend a day here with food readily available. The rainforest experience is a lovely place to walk through with many exotic creatures to be found from a sloth to beautiful butterflies. A truly great experience.
