We spend a half day at the aquarium and enjoyed our time situated in the middle of Stanley Park. The outside shows were interesting and we especially enjoyed the 4D show that was free about the salmon. For people that are not from the area they had many native fish and interesting information. My daughter especially enjoyed the giant jellyfish. Afterwards, we walked a little back into town and rented bikes and rode around Stanley park.

Overpriced, short on quality, overhyped. Really only for kids. The people who run this should take a look at some of the world's great city aquariums ... and then tone down their blurb. We were looking for the exit after 40 minutes. We had to ask. Signs saying "exit" didn't. Of course, should have known. It was through the gift shop. Good hotdog at Railway Cafe, though.

Crowded ---for both the visitors and the animals. We could leave, they couldn't. It was sad to see such large animals in such small spaces.

We were generally disappointed by the un-ending and over-riding message of ecological disaster. We came to learn about animals not to be the recipients of a constant environmental harangue.

Save your 30 bucks.

Really for young kids. Teens and adults could be bored. I would have like more information on the animals we were looking at. More docents would be nice. Were only two when we were there. Is SUPER busy in the summer, even on week days. And NOT cheap. Thirty dollars a pop for adults.

Small place, but with some unique features. Very frequent dolphin, whale, penguin and otter shows ensures the animals are active and everyone gets to see them. A neat walk-through rain forest lets you come face to face with exotic birds, butterflies and turtles. Clean and well put together. $30 is a little steep but demand driven, it's right in of Stanley Park and always busy.
