“Very good”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

When me and my family vacationed in the city of Vancouver, we decided to head down to the Vancouver Aquarium. Once there, we paid for an entry and, of course, got into the service. There were a number of cool water-animals in there. In addition, we purchased food and drink, and saw all of the water animals, most of which were good. We then watched a "4-D" film, and enjoyed its contents. Overall, I'd rate my experience at the aquarium very good.

“Worth a visit with young kids”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

We visited the aquarium with some friends, I would have liked it to be a it bigger (with more room for the outside animals) but it was fine for half a day. My 2yr daughter loved the fish, we couldn't really see the shows as the place isn't set up like that. Don't expect it to Belize sea world on the gold coast or in San Diego, but not a bad way to spend a rainy day

“Thousands of fish and a 4-D theatre”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

This is a must-see if you are visiting Vancouver. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here. The off-season price is $20 per adult, $15 per child. There are several interactive talks on marine biologists. The highlight was the 4-D theatre. We went in December and saw the Polar Express show included in the price (includes sight, tough, hear, and smell) experience. This is great for children four and up! Bring your umbrella for scattered rain showers. Highlights in this aquarium included the dolphin and beluga whale shows, giant turtles, jellyfish, butterfly garden, and sloths. This aquarium is close to the Festival of Lights and the mini train ride. Tip: Bring your own snacks as there are plenty of spots throughout the aquarium inside and out to stop and snack. Also, plan to go when it first opens and on a week day to avoid crowds and schoolchildren.

“Still great entertainment”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

I really dislike the crowds and parking too..but the venue is worth while as my daughter loves it we go almost each summer. I find it getting quite expensive over the years the prices for entry and food get higher each year or two. I really am against animals being kept in captivity but it is educational and beautiful to see these creatures up close.

What a wonderful place - something for all ages and the most magnificent collection of rare and beautiful fish. The Dolphin display was a lifetime memory.
