Spent a wonderful evening on Robson visiting a number of asian and mediterranean restaurants. A great place for a four or five course dine around.

The Robson Street is a good place for shopping. But not an awesome place. The prices are fare and there is a lot of restaurants and services around the area. But not loooot stores

We were not impressed with Robson Street. With a few exceptions the shopping was pretty standard. Same stores in every strip mall in North America. The restaurants were also average, unless you walk all the way down to the Korean and Japanese places are. Other than that it's a good place to kill some time and people watch.

lots of souvenir and t shirt shops and many high and stores and boutiques. Some places to eat on adjoining streets. Nothing tempted my wife the unlimited bargain hunter. Lucky our hotel was 2 blocks away we could not find a public restroom, and if we did, not sure it would be usable because of the homeless.

While there are many shopping options around Vancouver, and other blocks of the city try to house high-end specialty shops, Robson Street remains a place to see. You can probably find many of the chain shops at other locations but they may not have the same stock; also, there are many others which do not seem to exist anywhere else in Vancouver.
