I recently visited Vancouver and could not wait to get to the infamous Robson Street. I was impressed with the friendly people and employees that I encountered and many of the shops have reasonable prices. In this area, you will probably run into homeless people and I even gave a couple of them a few dollars. If you were homeless, you would be begging too! I did make a few purchases in the Robson Street area. Luckily, a lot of the shops offer affordable merchandise, although there are a few shops with ridiculously overpriced merchandise, which is probably why they get few visitors. For Canadian businesses, they need to realize that it is Canada and not some European country, so over priced merchandise really does not make sense, which will only cause customers to shop elsewhere, especially tourists. I cannot remember all of the Robson Street shops that I made purchases at, but I bought some cute tops and leggings at a few places. Robson Street is definitely worth a visit if you are ever in Vancouver!
