We took a cruise leaving Canada Place on Canada Day. We allowed some time to walk around before boarding our cruise ship. There were lots of people there due to the holiday. We visited the Olympic Cauldron and watched sea planes take off and land in the bay. There were a couple of bands playing music. One band was quite good and we listened to them for a while. There were also numerous food trucks there and free hand outs. People were handing out Canadian flags.

The cruise ship terminal is located on the lower level of Canada place. The location is a bit odd. You have to walk next to the parking lot to get to the terminal. The line for security, US Customs, and the cruise check-in was very quick and efficient. Overall, a nice place for a short visit and a good departure point for a cruise.

Not a lot to see, unless cruise ships are arriving or departing. Further along are the float planes to watch. We used a cafe in the area which gave us good views of the harbour. Canada Place is not really a tourist attraction in its own right - more a place to catch the ferries or cruises - or just to while away a bit of spare time.

If you have never been on a cruise or you are not from a harbor city, Canada place gives you the chance to see big cruise ships closely.

OK so Canada Place itself hasn't got lots to do but as as an area its easy to spend a couple of hours just wandering, browsing and best of all watching the sea planes take off/land. A number of cafes in the area so good for people watching too and on a nice day some fabulous views of the harbour and surrounds.

Nothing to see. We walked around the building hoping to see something cool, but there was nothing there. You can't walk around the building. You have to turn around and walk back. Other than watching sea planes, there's nothing to do.
