“A great walk with some stunning views”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Our first day in Vancouver and it was cold, so a good walk was called for. This was perfect! We walked the whole circuit of the park plus Beaver lake and Lookout Point. A great intro to a city of surprises

“Stanley Park using Hop On/Off bus”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

absolutely beautiful - seeing such a place makes you realize how humbling nature can be, also a good time of year to visit because it wasn't very crowded, the sites were all easily accessed, traffic smooth

“Fantastic park but could be better!”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Stanley park is an amazing place - lots of greenery, beautiful sights of the city along the seawall etc. However, there were a few let downs - parking charges are steep, nothing said about the mini railway at best and very little by way of directions.

We wanted to see the totem poles but just couldn't figure out where they were as nobody seemed to know, and also there were absolutely no directions. We did not see the park map in parking lot until after we came back to the car, but you would expect something basic like that plus some printed maps in a few more places. We also could not find any cycle shops to rent a bike where we were - around the aquarium area. Again no directions!

If you are going there, plan before you go and this would make it a much better experience as the park is quite big.

“Beautiful Day in the Park”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

Hired a bike for the day and rode around the entire park. Dress warm in Autumn, even on a sunny day my fingers were freezing!! Such a beautiful area, could spend the whole day exploring.

“Beautiful park with beautiful views of the city”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

If you visit vancouver then you must spend some time in Stanley park. We had a car, so we drove through stanley park and stopped at all the locations around the route. You pay once for parking and then it is good for anywhere in the park. We opted to pay for the whole day for $11 since we didnt know how long we would be.

It is nice to see the city from all the different sides of the park. We picked various spots to walk along the sea wall. Make sure to stop at the totem poles. We debated if to take the horse drawn carriage ride but decided against it. Had we not had a car then we might of done it.

Our 10 year old insisted we come back at night to see/hear the nine o'clock cannon.
