Owner description: North America's third-largest park draws eight million visitors per year, many of whom may skate or walk past you on the Seawall, a scenic, 5.5-mile path running along the water on the park's perimeter. It's just one of many trails among the park's 1,000 acres, which also house an aquarium, nature center and other recreational facilities.

This park is so comprehensive , you could easily spend three days seeing all it has to offer. We chose to see the aquarium, which was wonderful, including the 4D show! I especially liked the playful sea otters!! This park is a wonderful, refreshing way to spend an afternoon, easily accessible by bus from any downtown hotel.

If you want to relax and enjoy a nice morning or evening of Vancouver. Put your joggers on and also rent a bike and go around this beautiful park, visit the Fish house, try golf at the mini golf course, and you can relax at the English Bay beach when you are done or exhausted. and have a light meal at Cactus club cafe

Take the hop-on, hop-off shuttle and listen to the local lore about Stanley Park from the prespective of the drivers. Very informative and enjoyable. Whatever you do; make a stop at the Teahouse Restaurant. That is a MUST! You won't regret it.

I've always heard about this park and didn't know what to expect. We went to another park before and wanted to go to English Bay after. We budgeted a couple of hours only and needed more than that.

We got off to a slow start as we came from North and didn't realize there was an entrance before the bridge and had to go around to catch the South entrance. Then, we were thinking of the on-and-off bus, but couldn't find the stops!

We already paid for the max parking, $10, and confirmed that we could park at all the lots on and off the road. So, we drove around and stopped off at all the points. We spend some time in 3rd beach and did not regret it as it is less busy than English Bay.

Definitely worth spending the day here if you are visiting. Amazing how it is so close to a metropolitan area. Note that it is bigger than Central Park and makes you feel as if you were hours away from a major city.

Spent most of the day in Stanley Park walking and taking in the views. Took the tour to see the park, got off and just walked - beautiful. The totem poles are worth seeing and some of the views are stunning. It is also quiet and relaxing - a wonderful place in a great city.
