Stanley park is an amazing place to visit. so much park and so much to do in the park. Obviously do the aquarium and walk the sea wall. There are also totem poles to visit and a horse and wagon tour. The harbour boat tour is something not to be missed, it offers the view from the sea. So much fun and a great way to see the park from the ocean. Stroll the park and if you come across the restaurant eat and enjoy and also if ou come across the native village definately take a tour.

enjoy :)

Apparently this park was recently ranked the #1 Urban Park in the world. It is 80% undeveloped. The developed 20% is mostly along English Bay, and also the wooden walkways through the forest. A great place for hiking, and checking out incredibly tall trees, some of which are a thousand years old! Great boardwalk along the water--has both a bike path and a footpath. We spent a lazy Sunday afternoon at Stanley Park, and it felt like the entire city was hanging out in the park! A word of advice--when you arrive, find the information centre and get a map! We did not do this, and basically drove around in circles for an hour and a half trying to find our party--we didn't mind though because we saw the whole park!

Stanley Park itself looks amazing, but it is huge!! We walked there on a very warm day and were disappointed that there wasn't a shuttle bus to take us around. We were just too pooped to walk far.
There are Hop on & off buses that visit the park, but they cost $40 per person (for 24 hours) and we weren't keen on paying that for a couple of hours in Stanley Park. We found out that the number19 bus runs from downtown Vancouver to the edge of the park, so I would suggest you do that, or hire a bike.

excellent place to walk around, take kids to the waterpark, playgrounds, & a couple of places to eat. Well maintained and a relaxing stop while on vacation.
