Apparently this park was recently ranked the #1 Urban Park in the world. It is 80% undeveloped. The developed 20% is mostly along English Bay, and also the wooden walkways through the forest. A great place for hiking, and checking out incredibly tall trees, some of which are a thousand years old! Great boardwalk along the water--has both a bike path and a footpath. We spent a lazy Sunday afternoon at Stanley Park, and it felt like the entire city was hanging out in the park! A word of advice--when you arrive, find the information centre and get a map! We did not do this, and basically drove around in circles for an hour and a half trying to find our party--we didn't mind though because we saw the whole park!
