Owner description: North America's third-largest park draws eight million visitors per year, many of whom may skate or walk past you on the Seawall, a scenic, 5.5-mile path running along the water on the park's perimeter. It's just one of many trails among the park's 1,000 acres, which also house an aquarium, nature center and other recreational facilities.

I enjoyed my travels around Stanley park, from the totem poles to city skyline views to watching the ocean going freighter cross under the suspension bridge, this park is great for walking, biking or just taking a taxi ride around.

Whether you spend a day or a couple of hours, you'll love that you walked the sea wall or sat on the bench and admired the view. You can bike, walk or drive through or mix any of the three to try and see it all. Hidden trails go from the roads on the periphery to the interior of the park so bring your hiking shoes. A walkway goes around the entire edge of the island so you can literally walk from Canada Place on Coal Harbor to Sunset Beach on False Creek without leaving the water's edge. The Tea House is supposed to be great for brunch so what a nice way to top off the fuel before exploring the park. We didn't eat there but the view and the setting was nice, not overly tourist-y. Also, the park is along the way to Whistler so a nice stop to stretch the legs before the drive.

I love this place!! It is truly spectacular and there is so much to see and do within the park- I never get tired of going here. And the Aquarium is a must see.....as is the train, especially when it is set up as the Ghost Train for Halloween!!

The seawall around it is great. The grounds are beautiful, huge trees, lots of paths, a bus (19) goes straight into it dropping you near the Aquarium and right by the Miniature Train.

Wonderful park with good walking trails; totally wheelchair accessible. The Sea wall is great for running or bike riding.
