Owner description: North America's third-largest park draws eight million visitors per year, many of whom may skate or walk past you on the Seawall, a scenic, 5.5-mile path running along the water on the park's perimeter. It's just one of many trails among the park's 1,000 acres, which also house an aquarium, nature center and other recreational facilities.

The walk around the sea wall is a great way to combat the jet leg. Those who do not wish to walk the whole distance can hop on the Vancouver Trolley which has several stops in Stanley Park

Not to be missed while in Vancouver. There’s always action on the seawall so don’t forget your camera. The only decision to make is where to start and where to stop. Let me suggest my favorite parts:
- start in Yaletown at the end of Davie Street and walk up to the Teahouse. Have something to eat here. The patio has great views of English Bay. A wonderful place to sip a drink while watching the sunset.
- start at Canada Place and walk up to the totem poles. Again lovely views.

Stanley Park is the very heart of Vancouver. 1000 acres for public use. Beaches, restaurants, bowling, boating, unbelievable views and all in downtown Vancouver.

Huge trees, wilderness trails, sea wall for running, biking, blading, marine park, swim in summer, watch the cricket in summer, rowing club for a pint. You could spend an entire day in Stanley Park.
