Owner description: North America's third-largest park draws eight million visitors per year, many of whom may skate or walk past you on the Seawall, a scenic, 5.5-mile path running along the water on the park's perimeter. It's just one of many trails among the park's 1,000 acres, which also house an aquarium, nature center and other recreational facilities.

What a good place this is - Stanley park is a huge wooded park right on the edge of the city - good trails through the park - massive trees, small beaches and great views. We were walking so only got to see a fraction of the place. If I returned I would certainly rent a bike for the day, which are available to hire

We walked in Stanley Park each of the 7 days that we were in Vancouver. It is a very beautiful and energetic place with lots of cyclists and runners taking advantage of the great bike and walking paths that wind all through the park. The giant majestic trees and the harbour location make this one of the most beautiful settings we have ever visited. A must see in Vancouver!

I use to live right next to the park and sometimes I really miss it. Recently I did something I never thought I'd do. I rented tandem bike with my fiancee and rode along the sea wall. This is a fantastic way to see the outskirts of Stanley park as you ride past the beach areas, past lions gate bridge (Really beautiful when you see it from below and see all the work and steel that went into it.) past the bridge is a light house area you can take a break at, after you've done the outskirts of the park you can ride through, there are tons of trails tons, of happy riders and it makes for a beautiful day. Stanley park has so many things to see, the beaches, the restaurants, the rose gardens. Lock up your bike and go for a train ride, on Stanley parks mini rail. Take your kids to one of the many playgrounds or the water park. Stop at the fish house for lunch (I worked there briefly a few years back and the cleanliness and sea food is second to non.) Play at one of the tennis courts, stop by the dog park if you have small-medium small dogs. Explore the lake area, skate, bike or walk along the bridges. It took me almost 3 years to see the whole park. There is just too much to do. It's wonderful.

There are various places of great interest there, including the Aquarium! $10 parking fees for 8hrs (maybe wrong), good for your whole day!
