This is an amazing hotel for business at the convention center or simply for sightseeing pleasure. The views from the Harbor rooms give a full appreciation of the beauty of Vancouver, and yes the sea planes are fascinating.

The convention center is steps away, Gastown is just a 5 minute walk, and Granville Island is a short cab ride. The pool and hot tub need to be enjoyed at least once during your stay.

I included a picture of me and Bobby Ryan, as the Sens stayed in the hotel while I was there.

We appreciate you taking the time to post your review of your recent Pan Pacific Vancouver experience.

It was a pleasure to read that you enjoyed our Canada Place location on Vancouver's downtown waterfront. This location, as you have described, provides our guests with convenient access to local attractions, services and public transit, such as the Skytrain, which will take you quickly to Roger's Arena and other event locations.

A dip in our rooftop, outdoor saltwater pool and sauna is enjoyable rain or shine and we are delighted to read that you had the opportunity to enjoy this unique experience.

If your travels bring you back to Vancouver, we do hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back to the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

We wanted a hotel with easy access to the cruise ship port so the travel agent booked us here. When we got to the desk we found we had a "complimentary upgrade" and it certainly was. The suite was enormous, with a living room, dining area, one bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The main bathroom looked like the ones featured in mega mansions. There was a pretty view of the port and our ship coming in. We found we could go directly to the boarding area from the elevator. The dining room was very attractive, light and open, and the food good. The complimentary breakfast buffet was fine. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on your recent pre-cruise stay at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

It was a delight to read that you enjoyed your accommodation and upgrade to one of our luxury suites and were able to experience our Oceans 999 Restaurant. We have already shared your kind words with our entire Pan Pacific Vancouver team, who are always pleased to know their efforts have been recognized.

We do hope you enjoyed your cruise and that if you are planning a return trip to Vancouver, we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pan Pacific. The lobby is spacious and beautiful, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The views of the area are stunning, no matter where in the hotel you are. The location cannot be beat, especially if you have a meeting at the convention center-- no need to go outside, go downstairs and you are in the east building, or walk through an underground passage with lovely First Nations art to the west building. The pool/hot tub area is lovely, and the pool is large enough for lap swimming. The gym was crowded with perhaps older equipment, but more than sufficient for a good workout while traveling. The room was spacious and comfortable, and even included an umbrella-- quite handy for Vancouver. The hotel restaurant (Five Sails) is outstanding.

We thoroughly enjoyed reading your review and were delighted you were able to experience and enjoy so many of the features offered by the Pan Pacific Vancouver, including our Fitness Centre and outdoor saltwater pool. Even in the wet, cooler, weather, many guests enjoy sitting in the warm outdoor pool and sauna to enjoy the view and ambiance.

It was also a pleasure to read that you enjoyed our location at Canada Place. We are fortunate this central downtown, waterfront location, in addition to our connection to both the Convention centres East and West, provides our guests a convenient starting point to explore the many attractions, services and facilities just minutes from our hotel.

Should you be returning to Vancouver, we do hope we will be your hotel of choice.

Hotel is large high end hotel located at Canada Place opposite Fairmont and near Harbour and Convention Centre.
Car parking is CAD$32 a night so beware if you have a vehicle with you
Good location near hop on and hop off tourist buses, as well as Gastown
Due to size of hotel although staff are friendly and polite you feel just like a "number" during our 4 night stay I did not see 1 member of staff the same
Bar area pleasant to sit in but drinks and food expensive
Bedroom was large and spacious, serviced every day
Overall a but too "posh" for us but very good if that is your bag.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review regarding your recent stay.

We are very pleased that, overall, you enjoyed your stay and our Canada Place location sitting over the Harbour and close to attractions, services and public transit. It was nice to see that you had the opportunity to experience our lounge and have forwarded your feedback to our Food and Beverage Management for their review.

Parking in downtown Vancouver is expensive and, while we do not own or operate the parking facility at Canada Place, registered guests do receive preferred parking rates by registering their vehicle with our Front Desk.

If you are returning to Vancouver, we do hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back.

Had a great, week-long stay in a King suite at the Pan Pacific. Bed was very comfortable, pillows were a bit small/flat, but all around very cozy. The room was large and provided ample storage for belongings carried for a weeks worth of meetings and events.
What really impressed me was how friendly the housekeeping staff were! They were the first to say good morning and ask how my day was going. Hats off to them!
Very conveniently located close to Gastown as well as many other restaurants, shopping, and bars.
I would highly recommend a stay at the Pan Pacific when in downtown Vancouver.

Room tip: No bad room or view available. All good options.
