Have got the 14 th floor. I am astonished with the accommodation and especially with wonderful view from my window. View of harbour , mountains, people. Thank you. One thing is the bed was too soft to me.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review regarding your recent stay at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

It was a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your stay and, in particular, the views of the harbour and mountain from your 14th floor accommodation. Our guest rooms feature pillow-top mattresses - we regret that this mattresses selection is softer than you prefer.

We do hope that if your travels bring you back to British Columbia, we will have the pleasure to welcome you back to the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

Stayed for 5 days for a conference at the Vancouver Convention Center. This is a great hotel for conference/convention goers. Easy, rain free (tunnel) access to all parts of the VCC is hard to beat.
The views of the city and the water are wonderful. The heated pool/sauna make for a great outdoor, rooftop retreat.

We are very fortunate in our downtown waterfront location at Canada Place as it provides easy access to guests attending conferences and functions at the both the West and East convention centres.

It was also a pleasure to read that you were able to relax and enjoy our outdoor saltwater swimming pool and sauna located on our 8th floor.

Should you travels bring you back to Vancouver either for business or leisure, we do hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you back to the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

Every time I visit Canada, I make a point of staying in the Pan Pacific at Whistler or in Vancouver. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for. I recently spent 2 nights with my family in Vancouver and spent just short of $1000 for room only for 2 rooms. I was disappointed that the bottles of water in the room carried a charge and that WiFi was also chargeable. The check in was not the welcome I would expect as a Pan Pacific cardholder - functional at best. As I was travelling with 2 young Sons, it was disappointing that the pool was closed for maintenance although this happens and we were redirected to the Pacific Rim to use their pool. The welcome could not have been mode different. Really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Back to PAn Pacific for drinks. As we had the kids, we had a seat off the bar. Great service to start then fell away and we had to actively seek the waitress for refills despite her serving others next to us but sat in the bar. Rooms and harbour view in this place are amazing and the harbour view in 1815 is well worth the extra. You get newspaper delivered and charged to you but I was not given the option when checking in. Check out was much friendlier and when I completed my questionnaire on line, Pan Pacific were quick to contact me and efficiently resolved my issues. The stay there is usually faultless but they could do with a trip across the road to the Pacific Rim to see how it's done

Thank you for taking the time to post your review regarding your recent stay.

We regret that our service and facilities fell short of our usual standard of excellence and that you felt overlooked when dining in our lounge with your family. I understand our management has already been in contact with you directly and was able to address your concerns to your satisfaction.

It is unfortunate our pool was not available during your stay. We are fortunate to have a reciprocal arrangement with hotels close by so that all guests at each property have access to recreational facilities at all times.

We look forward to the opportunity to redeem our reputation on your next trip to British Columbia.

Just had a great birthday weekend at the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver. They upgraded me to a gorgeous suite with an even better view of the harbour, seaplanes & Stanley Park. If that wasn't special enough, there were yummy chocolate covered tuxedo strawberries delivered to the room, too! Speaking of delivering - the staff were wonderful; especially the bellman. Birth weekend was truly memorable and I can't wait to turn 29 again and again, next year with the Pan Pacific! TY!!

My hubby and I stayed here a couple days prior to attending a conference. I would agree with most of the reviews here. Our checkin was smooth (thanks Adam!), but we did check in after 6pm (and 12 hrs of travel). We had to pay to upgrade to a Harbour view, but that was the whole reason we chose this hotel, so we bucked up. They sold us with the included extras (free Internet, breakfast, happy hour, etc). We immediately took advantage of the happy hour. Our luggage was waiting for us when we got to the room. The view (2230) was completely unobstructed to Stanley park and the mountains. The morning (8am) did come with loud announcements from a cruise ship, but with the curtains drawn it was fairly muffled. With the curtains open we had a show of sea planes taking off in the morning and lots of sight seeing with the provided bushnell binoculars. Continental breakfast in the 23rd fl lounge was sufficient (eggs were the only warm offering). I was disappointed with the lack of attention paid to us by the lounge concierge. Every morning he greeted the couples, checked in on them, offered advice, but never approached us. We are a younger couple (celebrating our 2nd anniversary that only the front desk acknowledged - again thanks Adam), but we paid just as much as the others in the lounge. It just tainted the experience a bit for me. My husband wanted to give 3.5/5, but we graded up to 4 due to the view.

As others said the decor is a bit uninspired, but in good repair. The location is GREAT - in between Stanley park and gastown so lots in walking distance. Can't wait to see how a city hotel compares, this view makes it hard to beat.

Thank you for choosing to celebrate your second anniversary with us, and for taking the time to post your review of your stay.

We were delighted to read that you enjoyed your experience on our Pacific Club Floor and the views of the harbour activities from your room and our lounge. We were disappointed that you felt overlooked whilst dining in our lounge and have forwarded your comments to our Pacific Club Manager for his review and follow-up.

It was also a pleasure to see that you were able to take advantage of and enjoy our central downtown location. Should your travels bring you back to British Columbia, we do hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you back.

This is a very nice hotel at Canada Place in Vancouver
Get a room facing the harbour as it is worth the view especially in the evening hours
Also try to get a room ending in ..36 or ..38 (I had 1536- 15th floor) as they are at the end of the hotel that faces the harbour and are curved rooms so you get at least a 180 degree view.
It is like you are on the back of a cruise ship. On that note, the cruise ship dock is part of the hotel complex and Canada Place. It is interesting to watch the cruise ships from your room high above!
This hotel connects directly to the Vancouver convention Center East (part of the same building) and also connects to Vancouver convention Center West by a underground walkway that has windows on one side with a view of the harbour...so beautiful

Room Tip: Rooms ending in ...36 and ..38 from 10th floor and higher..these are curved with a 180 view and are...

We appreciate you taking the time to post your review regarding your recent stay at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

It was a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your accommodation and the views of the mountains and harbour activities from your accommodation. We agree that the views from these 36 and 38 type rooms (premier king and panoramic harbourview guestrooms) are quite spectacular and popular with guests.

We are fortunate with our Canada Place location and are glad you were able to take advantage of this central location and our connectors to both the Vancouver Convention Centre East and West.

Should your travels bring you back to Western Canada either for business or leisure, we do hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you back to the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

Everywhere you turn here you feel like you are transported back to the 1980s. Not that things are falling down, far from it, it's more like a very well preserved time capsule of high end 80s design. Great service and big clean rooms have me coming back.
