We spent a couple of nights in the hotel after arriving by seaplane into Vancouver. It is right beside the seaplane base on the water. Our room had marvellous views across the harbour. It was quiet and very comfortable. Close to waterfront walks, Gastown restaurants, city museums and shopping. Only drawback is the absence of free wifi connection in the rooms. Poor for a hotel of this quality in this day and age - the only hotel we found to suffer this problem in our weeks across Canada..

Room Tip: The harbour-view rooms are the pick.

This is our second stay at the Pan Pacific, and it was fabulous! Remembering our breakfast had come to $50 the other visit, we chose the King w/ Bed and Breakfast Fare. We had a wonderful view of the city, and the usual we'd expect in the room with a little twist. The coffee and tea (complimentary) had a note telling us to check the minibar for complimentary milk and cream!

The breakfast buffet was delicious! It had the usual hot and cold bar, but with a separate island for the cold buffet with lots of muffins and danish. Also a separate juice bar.

For cruisers, the location is perfect because it's right over the cruise port. We called the porter, and they picked up our checked luggage to bring to the cruise holding area! When it came time to board the ship, we took the hotel elevator down to the terminal and walked through their covered parking to the terminal!

Room Tip: Had both a city view and the water view the other stay. Both were great!

I attended a conference at the hotel and to be perfectly honest, I do not have a single negative thing to say. Room was perfect, hotel was quiet and I did enjoy hearing the foghorns going off with the incredible fog in Vancouver this trip. Ate dinner last night and there was a set menu since we had 30 for dinner. The food was delicious to say the least.

I have not stayed at this hotel for several years but I will have no issues with a return visit.

I stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights and it was awesome. It is located right at the waterfront where all the cruise ships lay their Anchor. The Hotel hotel has great view of Vancouver and from the hotel it is a short distance to a lot of important locations. Nice bars around the vicinity and shopping is nearby.

Stayed here a Friday night to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday party. We had an adjoining suite and both rooms were beautiful. The girls toured the hotel, swam, and enjoyed the hot tub. The rooms had beautiful views, were spotless, large, and beds were ultra comfortable. The Spa Utopia toiletries were a hit, as were the welcome chocolates in both rooms.
I do agree with another review that I am concerned by the lack of security accessing the rooms in the hotel, anyone could from the ground level lobby.
The salt water outdoor pool is amazing - worth the price of admission alone.

Love this place. Great service, great location, beautiful inside, close to everything. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on but...... No queen beds, king or 2 twins only. I booked online thinking the room came with 2 queens however not the case.

A very nice location and beautiful view from the window.
We stayed for a conference.
However, the room itself was nothing special: a hazardous electric kettle with a 12 inch cord that did not shut off on its own and was very dangerous when plugged in on the little pull-out shelf.
Then there are all the extra charges, like $5 per day for internet, $30 for parking, when it costs only $20 half a block away per day, $40 for breakfast.
Internet is a given in nearly all hotel these days and should not be charged extra when you pay already close to $300 a night.
Also the security of this hotel is questionable: the concierge/reception is far from the bank of elevators to the floors, which is wide open for anybody entering this large convention and hotel complex. Anybody can just ride up to the floors and knock on your door without any check or being seen by the reception!
Too many extra charges: not good value.
