What a view from the "corner room" and also what a surprise - we had a small balconly overlooking the harbor - fabulous!! It was my first trip to Vancouver and the location of the hotel is great. I could have spent the entire time sitting on the balcony and admiring the view. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurants within the hotel are very limited but definitely walking distance to great places to dine - like Gas Town! We stayed in Vancouver for three days prior to boarding a cruise ship for Alaska - excellent location if you're going on a cruise. The Bellman picked up the luggage prior to our checkout and we didn't have to bother with them again until they were delivered to our stateroom on the ship! Would highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Corner rooms are a bit more expensive but are large and the view is fantastic

Our hotel stay was very enjoyable. The harbor side views were outstanding. I would imagine it would be an ideal place to stay for a cruise since the cruise ships dock on either side of the hotel. The only issue we had was the TV did not work. We had to had the technician come up each day to get it going. Normally not such an issue but we wanted to watch part of the US Open. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay and would return again.

Room Tip: A room with a harbor view is preferable. Higher up is preferable too since the cruise ships come in...

We booked a cruise package and stayed here 2 nights pre cruise and one night after. It includes breakfast buffet, which is about $30pp and also transfers of luggage directly to the ship, not just to the porters at the pier. The hotel is located above the cruise terminal, and you simply take the elevator down the the terminal when it is time to depart. Nothing could be simpler. We had booked a King City View but were given a complimentary upgrade to a King Harbor View upon check in. We didn't even ask! The view from this room is directly bay front and looks across the bay to North Vancouver and the mountains beyond. It will take your breath away. Watched cruise ships arrive and depart and sea planes take off and land. You can walk any direction to many attractions, or take a tour bus or hop on hop off tour right outside the door. You can walk for miles on the beautiful sea wall. Beautiful marble bath and best smelling room I've ever had! We had the misfortune of being there for Mother's Day, and they had an extensive brunch set up which encompassed the restaurant, the bar/lounge area and the public areas in front of these. Even late in the afternoon, after all brunchers were gone, we were unable to get access to the outside patio along the water or even to the bar for a drink as this area was still roped off and being taken down. Unfortunate planning on someone's part.

Room Tip: Choose a Harbor View Room at minimum. The views are to die for. If you are ever going to splurge o...

It was a pleasure to read your review regarding your recent pre and post-cruise stays at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

We were delighted that you enjoyed your stay and found our location convenient and your accommodation to your liking. We are fortunate to share our Canada Place location with the cruise ship terminal as this allows us to provide extra services such as the direct transfer of guests’ luggage from their rooms to the cruise ship.

It is unfortunate that you were unable to experience our Patio Terrace due to the popular Mothers' Day Brunch earlier that day. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We do hope that if your travels bring you back to Vancouver, that we will have the pleasure to welcome you back to the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

This large full-service, up-scale hotel is close to Olympic Torch, Stanley Park and downtown stores and restaurants. We loved the view of the harbor and surrounding mountains from the hotel lobby and restaurant area. We enjoyed watching the ships sail in and out of the harbor from the lounge area. Our room was nicely decorated with a wall of windows overlooking the street/ buildings below. The windows opened slightly, which was great at during the late day when the sun heated the room. However during the night, we had to close the windows because of the revelers passing through the streets past midnight. The concierge service was fantastic and helped us book a trip to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and gave us clear directions on renting bikes to tour Stanley Park and Grandville Island.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review.

It was a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your stay and the views from the hotel lobby and your accommodation. We do hope that your Vancouver experience was not diminished by the noise from the street. While it is usually quite peaceful in the evenings, on this occasion there was likely a celebratory event taking place nearby.

We are very fortunate in our location at Canada Place as it provides our guests with convenient access to a wide variety of downtown services and facilities, with public transit just steps from the hotel.

Your kind words will be passed on to our Concierge Team, who will be delighted that they contributed to the enjoyment of your stay.

Should your travels bring you back to Vancouver, we do hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you back to the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

Quite a view from the harbor view concierge level room. We had a city view non-concierge room but asked about upgrade options upon arrival and garnered this for what we thought a bargain ($90). It included breakfast in AM, a drink and appetizers late afternoon. Great view of float plane arrivals and departures on the harbor as well as cruise ships well below our 22cnd floor room. Had one lunch at hotel and it was very good.

Room Tip: Harbor view on concierge level

I stayed here for 4 nights in early May 2013 in a double room sharing with my boyfriend and our friend. This hotel is excellent. Although it is not the cheapest in Vancouver the ease and convenience of its location far outweighs the slightly higher prices.

Location: We got the train directly from the airport on the Canada Line for $9 which was very easy and only took about 20 minutes. The entry to the sky train is about a 1 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is located right on the water in Vancouver. You are overlooking Stanley Park and where the sea planes take off. We walked down to Stanley Park which took about 30 minutes and also walked all the way through downtown Vancouver which took about 45 minutes.

Quality: The room size is very generous. There was plenty of room for three of us to store our bags without tripping over them. There is even a lounge chair as well which is such a luxury if you are travelling a lot. Our rooms where cleaned daily and we were always greeted by helpful staff members.

Wi-Fi: There was a cost associated with the Wi-Fi, which by memory cost about $5 per 24 hour period. Although most hotels now offer free Wi-Fi $5 isn’t a huge amount of money. It also allowed us to use up to 5 devices and was very fast.

Food options: There are many food options within a short walking distance from Pan Pacific. You do not need to worry about this. You can walk in any direction and find a variety of food options. There is a direct entry from the hotel into the food court across the street. There are also a number of different cafes and restaurants along the waterfront towards the convention centre next door.

Public Transport: The sky train waterfront station is about a 1 minute walk away and will connect you to many parts of the city. There are also a number of different buses all within a 5 minute walk. We used a bus to get down to Granville Island. You can purchase a book of 10 prepaid tickets for the bus/train which was the easiest way to get around. We picked ours up from a 7eleven. The ferry which takes you over to North Vancouver and Grouse Mountain is also about a 2 minute walk away.

I would stay here again if I returned to Vancouver and would encourage others to do so.
