This Vancouver establishment in the Mount Pleasant - Broadway - Kingsway area is a hub of classic French cuisine. We were there on a Tuesday night and if you arrive without a reservation I do not think you would get in. We started with one of each of the "Les Tartes Flambe" and the special salad of Endive, Arugula, toasted Hazelnuts and fresh Figs all of which were outstanding. The mains of Trout and Filet were stellar and two of us had Boulabaise which was tasty but the fish, prawns, clams and mussels were all overcooked. The wine listed is well priced with well priced local wines with equal priced imports. Service was pleasant and knowledgable, atomoshpere was lively and loud but mad for a great buzz and entertaining evening.
