My parents and I stopped here hoping for a good view, good food and nice service. We only got a good view and sort of good food. The service on the other hand was bad! The waitress we had only concentrated on bigger parties! My mom had to ask several times just for ketchup, and once it finally came, another person gave it to us! The waitress never said "Sorry" or anything...
Not to mention it was very hot on the patio, even with fans that didn't seem to help. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

We are from Melbourne Australia and our first visit to Vancouver. We found the best chowder ever at prospect point cafe. Friendly service and excellent atmosphere. A must try.

Being local and having seen the magnificent views from the point we decided that for Canada day brunch we would visit Prospect Point again.
BIG mistake. We ordered the weekend / holiday breakfast. Although it was
$13 we thought it would be worth the money. When it came the bacon was obviously warmed over and burnt, the hash brown few and cold, the eggs over easy were broken and like rubber and only one slice of toast with no choice but whole wheat. We could have got better at restaurants in the West End for half the price!! When we complained we were told they were “a fish place”. Why have this item on the menu if you can only cook fish but having seen the previous revues they don’t seem to be able to do that either!!

We ordered the fish and chips - at $14 each we were expecting something fairly special but instead got a piece of fish about the size and shape of a sausage! It didn't even taste that nice and we were eating out of a plastic basket. Would advise to avoid. The location is lovely, but we would have been better off with a take away from somewhere else and eating outside enjoying the view.
