“Not worth money”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2013

Buses were full and had to wait over hour to get on at stops. Stops are not easy to find and wasn't able to get on tour around Stanley Park because buses full. Waste of money!

“Great!”

Very good experience with my Emily Carr mates on this bus. Vancouver is such a wonderful city and the tour was an excellent way to find that out. Larry, the driver, is an unique and pleasant man!

“Great Way to See All of Vancouver”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2013

We chose the Buses over the Trolleys because we asked a few locals what they would choose, and they all said the buses.

Pros: Half open air and half covered, with the open air part it was easier to see the taller buildings and not be hindered by the roof of the bus. We chose to get the upgrade by paying CAN$5 extra to get 2 days of the bus. This way we did the whole loop and saw what places we wanted to go back to and just used the bus that way. When it rains, they do cover the top with a tarp, so no worries. As the name states, you can hop-on-hop-off anytime, just make sure you find out when the last one will be picking up. Our first driver was great and informative.
TIP: I'm not sure if they normally are as laid back as I noticed, but they didn't seem to pay that close attention to people's tickets. If you bought one day and still had the receipt and flashed it getting on the bus another day, I'm sure they wouldn't say anything. If so, just act dumb. ;)

Cons: Our last driver was cranky, kind of rude, and in such a rush. He didn't even bother to narrate, he had a recording playing.

“Way too expensive!!!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

We took this bus tour as we have done in many other cities. They usually provide a good way to see the sights and hop on and off as we wish. This one has to be the worst! First off...40 dollars per person for a one day ticket? Unfortunately we were on the bus when we found this out so payed anyway (shame on us for not doing the research I guess!). The tour went ok... until at Granville island the driver encountered a taxi blocking him. The taxi was parked illegally I think. The driver began beeping the horn aggressively and shouting at the taxi driver....at first it was funny...but got uncomfortable after a few minutes. People from the Starbucks across the road began shouting at the driver to shut up....Finally the situation was resolved and we went on our way. At this stage the driver took off his headset and just drove aggressively from stop to stop. We didn't stay on board for long...80 dollars wasted.

“Good value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2013

Great way to see Vancouver if you are in the city for a short time. Great value for money and the bus drivers are knowledgeable. Hop on and hop off as many times as you want. We bought the 2 days pass which we used on alternate days
