Location of this modern hotel is terrific! We were in a double queen bed room with a spectacular view. The room is huge, big enough for a family of 4 without feeling tight. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The housekeeping tried to make us feel at home, thank you. The marble bathroom is very nice and there is a tv on the mirror. There is also complimentary nespresso coffee. No free Wi-Fi but you will find an iPad in your room that controls everything, from the lights in you rooms to the vallet parking to have your car waiting for you downstairs. You will be able to access internet from this iPad.

The ground floor is very lively in evenings, we were there from Thursday to Sunday and every evening the lobby was full and loud with a band or singer on stage.

We tried the restaurant on the second floor, extremely good food and service. We could have had a better advise for the wine.

My only concern was that the price that we paid booking through the travel agency was 40% higher than if we had book directly with the hotel, so I can only recommend to check that before booking.

We stayed for 4 nights after disembarking from an Alaskan cruise. From the reservation via the internet from Australia to the check in was effortless. All the staff were super friendly.
The rooms were large, spacious and ultramodern with an iPAD that seem to control most things. Whilst I struggled with the modern gadgets, my "kids" 20 & 23 thought they were super cool.
Poolside had little cabanas with small fireplace in each cabana to keep warm. Looks really cool at sunset and in the evening.
What was amazing was that a complimentary BMW car was available to take us to and from nearby restaurants and we were able to use complimentary BMW bicycles to cycle round Stanley park. One of my sons fell off his bike and needed some minor medical attention and no sooner when he walked through the front door, he was fussed over by both the concierge and another front office staff. The wound was dressed well with extra wound dressing available. You truly cannot fault the service.
This is one hotel I would recommend to everyone and will definitely be my choice accommodation when visiting Vancouver again. The stay was most enjoyable and the service and accommodation, faultless.

Room Tip: Get a room with a view. Cool to see sea planes fly off and land. Higher the better.

All our family absolutely loved it! (19-50 years)
We travel a lot and have never expierenced a big luxury hotel that has felt like a gorgeous little familyhotel before.
The facilities was absolutly great, from the lovely bed, to the spa and lobbybar with live music every day.
All the staff was so nice and friendly and took perfect care of us. We got advices from them all what to see, where to go and they made our stay so much more interesting.
The position by the water was great, best part of the city to live.
All the drivers took us to many different places downtown and back, all of them learned us something by telling us interesting things about the city.
The breakfast had it all, all you could ask. The massage was magic.
A fantastic hotel with a divine service!
We will go back.

Everything in this hotel was spectacular, especially the staff. My 3 day stay could not have been more comfortable. The front desk staff was always there to help and the consierge staff was great. There was always a car to take us and pick us up no matter where we went. We had dinner there on evening and the food was excellent.

Room Tip: I tipped the front desk person before she assigned our room and she gave us one with a spectacular v...

I loved this hotel! The staff were so friendly and so polite. The room was beautiful and very stylish with lots of gadgets and free toiletries (yes I do always go on about freebies in hotels!) the bathroom had a tv in the mirror and a fantastic bath and separate walk in shower. All the lights/ drapes/ thermostat could be controlled by your room iPad, it is a geek's paradise.
Talented musicians every night in the bar, tasty unusual cocktails ...I could go on and on...convenient location.....!
We accidentally walked to the fairmount waterfront initially and when they realised our mistake they drove us around to our hotel to help us out! Great service and staff! WELL DONE!

We have stayed twice, both times off-season and at promo rates (regular rates are pretty pricy) . When we stayed this spring, we took advantage of the hotel bikes, available without charge to Fairmont club members. They also supply helmets. These are great for cycling around Stanley Park, or the False Creek area, or access to Granville Island. I won't go into detail as to the rooms, as this has been covered by others. We have enjoyed our experience both times we were there, can't wait to go back. Walking distance to Gas Town, close to Yale Town, cycling distance to almost everywhere. Vancouver is installing an extensive bike lane system, so take advantage and enjoy!

Room Tip: We were initially assigned a room with no bath, just a shower. They quickly changed our room on requ...
