This is a great hotel, easy to arrive by car. The staff are very helpful, the room spacious, beds very comfortable. All was clean and fresh. It was so easy to stay here, regrettable only for one night. I will return and plan to enjoy the amenitites the hotel has to offer.

This is the Coast's boutique hotel located in the heart of Coal Harbour. It is a superb location and I understand it opened days before the Olympics. It is impeccably maintained and exceptionally clean. The best part of the hotel is the staff however. They are very professional and friendly as well. It is a pleasure to stay there and I look forward to returning.
The restaurant Preston's is very good too but if you are staying at the Coast also cross the street and check out the Urban Fair deli. Excellent coffee, breakfasts, and inexpensive snacks and or meals. I love Coal Harbour and the Coast has a gem in this property.

Room Tip: Try for a view of the Harbour. It is in the name after all!

Got this hotel through Hotwire at $80/night. The room itself was excellent, it was located on the 9th floor. We looked into an office building, but I expected that given that I was paying the deeply discounted Hotwire rate.

The pool and hot tub operate 365 days a year, and it was fun to hang out in there on a Saturday night in the cold and rain! The hotel also found my girlfriend's jacket that was left behind in the closet, and sent it back at our expense.

Overall, I thought the service was good, and the location was excellent. Parking is a bit expensive at $37/night incl tax... but I knew that going in. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this place.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, and were a little sad to move on. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were comfortable, large and clean. The location of the hotel is very good too, being 10 minutes wlak form the main shopping and eating street (Robson). It is only 15 minutes walk to Gastown. The hotel faces the harbour, and if you have a room which faces that way (we did) the views of the harbour and Grouse Mountain are excellent. You are also only a pleasant stroll from Stanley Park, and they are worth the effort. tThere is a promenade which takes you one way to Stanley Park and the other way to Canada Place and Gastown. There are enough bars along there to rest your legs.

Would definitely stay there again

Room Tip: Ask for one facing the harbour on a higher floor

The hotel is centrally located to everything, from the convention centre to the shopping district. It is located in one of the safest areas of downtown Vancouver. It is just walking distance from the train and there is a park just a block away which connects to the world famous Stanley Park.

The hotel itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The staff are very warm, friendly and very helpful. The room is very clean and the bed is comfy.

We had breakfast at Prestons and the food is delicious at a very reasonable price.

I highly recommend this hotel for female business travellers and families travelling with small children.

This hotel is in an ideal location for walking from the sea plane/Canada Place and exploring Downtown Vancouver. Importantly as a female travelling alone I felt very safe in the hotel and neighbourhood. The rooms are great and modern and very comfy and I requested a sea view which is terrific-looking out across to the snow capped mountains. I ate in the restaurant next door which was great. I asked about a refrigerator in the room and it can be requested for $1/day. The back of the hotel is on a street with the regular buses and easy to link up with the Skytrain . Also a 7/11 shop close by. I would definitely choose to come back to this hotel in Vancouver.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sea view

This hotel is very new and clean inside. The staff are extremely attentive. My room was spacious and bright and had everything I needed, with a nice big bathroom.
I was here for 3 nights in the summer for business. The outdoor pool was a nice place to relax in the busy city. I recommend to anyone staying on business. Also a great location for tourists, but seemed very business oriented to me.
