Thank you for taking the time to leave us an awesome review. We really appreciate this!
How wonderful that you got to see a pod of whales and that the weather was behaving for you too :) Wilma certainly is a mine of information and enjoys sharing this extensive knowledge with our guests,
We hope you will join us on another tour in future the next time you are in Vancouver!
This was an amazing trip and experience. We booked the half day trip. Crew were friendly and attentive. Becky and Aurora were so knowledgeable, clearly subject matter experts in their field and passionate about marine conservation.
We were very fortunate to come across a pod of three killer whales. A truly unforgettable experience.
If you are able to, book this for the first part of your stay in Vancouver so that if no whales are seen you can go out again free of charge.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. We really appreciate this and are delighted that you came across a pod of three killer whales - a very special experience.
Thank you also for your kind feedback about our crew. They certainly have a wealth of information and we always aim to ''inspire passionate stewards of the sea''.
Long may your wonderful memories last :)
Yesterday we went for a whale watching tour with this company. Strong wind, so a very bumpy but also a very exiting ride. Unfortunately we didn’t see any whales:( We did see some very nosy and cute seal puppies and several eagles. But our guide Wilma was a living library and did make our trip very interesting and fun. We will come back shortly to have another go to see those elusive whales! Highly recommended!!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are very sorry that you were not successful in seeing whales that day. Every tour is unpredictable and different in terms of what can be spotted. Just like whale watching anywhere in this region, or the world, sometimes we aren't lucky enough to see whales.
We do stand by our whale sighting guarantee and encourage our guests to join us on another tour in future at no cost, in the instance that no whales have been sighted. The experience of our guests is really important to us so please do contact us to arrange another booking. We would be happy to help!
We took the boat from Granville Island, we sat upstairs and although it was a fast and sometime bumpy ride it was great. We were lucky with the weather, sunny although a bit cold at time. We travelled for over an hour and a half before we saw any sign of a whale but then they appeared and we spent the next hour watching them. Particularly special was the mum and her calf who surfaced close to us. on the way back we passed close to some small islands and saw a variety of wildlife, bald eagles, a variety of seals and sea otters. The crew were brilliant, showing us maps of where we were going and photos of the various types of whales we may see
Many thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We really appreciate it and are so happy that the weather was on your side :)
It sounds like you had a wonderful adventure out on the water with the whales. How amazing that you got to see a mother and calf too! Always a very special encounter.
We would love to have you join us on another tour again the next time you are in Vancouver!
Did the ultimate day experience - 4 hours whale watching and then Victoria and The gardens.
It was an absolute amazing day - the sun was out, we found 2 pods of Orcas playing in the water, had a super friendly and knowledgeable crew who kept moving around explaining everything ‘whale’ and beyond. I decided to take the first bus to the gardens, which was a great idea as there is so much to see as you stroll through enjoying the sights and smells of the flowers. The trip back was uneventful. The captain tried for some more whales, but they couldn’t be found - but we all had an amazing day and I can highly recommend this fantastic itinerary. It’s not cheap, but I felt it was worthwhile.
Thank you very much for leaving us an awesome review! We are delighted that you had a great adventure with us and that you got to see the Orcas!
The Butchart Gardens is definitely a beautiful sight, especially at this time of year and coupling this with whale watching makes for a terrific way to spend the day :)
We would love to have you join us on another tour in future the next time you are in Vancouver!
Totally enjoyed this tour. We were so lucky with our sightings. It was a beautiful day and we saw bald eagles, seals and several hump backs and some orcas. Even after we had seen some whales, the crew kept looking for more. The boat was not too big so everyone seemed to get to see the whales. It was quite cold on the top deck so hats, scarves and a warm coat are recommended. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. If you don't see any whales, I believe you can have another tour free of charge. Having previously done a disappointing whale watching trip in Quebec, I was a bit wary of booking another. I needn't have worried!
Thank you very much for your awesome review. We truly appreciate it and are delighted to hear that you saw Orcas, Humpbacks and other marine wildlife!
You are correct that we have a year-round whale sighting guarantee policy so we invite our guests to take another tour with us for free in the instance that no whales have been spotted.
We are so happy you enjoyed your adventure with us and hope you will take another tour with us again in future!
