One of the top hotels period. Excels in all service aspects and I only wish there were more in the U.S. I am always impressed by the high level of service and amenities this hotel provides. A menu choice of six pillows explains it all.

Great Hotel.
The service at front desk and concierge was amazing.
The bed is extra confortable.
The bathroom is super clean and with great space, the amenities were L´Occitane.
It is very well located all though it doesn´t have ocean view.

We have stayed at a few hotels in the Shangri La chain now and while this one doesn’t have the wow factor in the lobby, it makes up for it with the service. We stayed in room 907 with floor to ceiling windows and a lovely corner view and balcony. The room was beautiful and cleaned daily, even when we didn’t leave the room while later. We ate breakfast here every day during our stay and the staff were so friendly and professional, remembering our names and spending time asking about our plans for the day etc. The concierges were wonderful, offering advice, booking trips and giving directions. There was a pianist playing in the lobby one of the days which was a very nice touch. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others.

Perfect location, great service from attentive,friendly, well- trained staff and good restaurants on site. The rooms were well designed; the light switches were labeled. No alternative to the heavy duvet in the room, a small criticism.

My family and I recently visited Vancouver, and we stayed at The Shangri-La Hotel.

The hotel is well kept and maintained. The staff is warm and inviting. Our suite was roomy, comfortable in addition to being maintained clean and fresh.

We also had dinner and breakfast @ Market Restaurant (on premise) on several occasions. The food was executed perfectly, fresh seasonal produce was highlighted in addition to amazing seafood.

The service from the hotel valet through management was perfect.

Staff is knowledgeable, approachable, offered assistance and very professional. I would like to say thank you to Vincent Wong (Hotel Duty Manager), Mitchell Kerr (Restaurant Manager) for their follow up and making sure our experience was perfect. I would also like say “Thank You” to Tom (restaurant server) for an amazing experience and excellent service.

The hotel is perfectly located. Nearby to shops and restaurants. In addition to a short walk to either Gas Town (10 minutes or so) or to Granville Island boat Ferry (20-30 minutes).

You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Highly recommend.

I do have additional photos that i was unable to load on Trip-Advisor. If you look up the Shangri-La Vancouver on google I was able to load more photos of the room and additional views.
