“First time knock-out! GREAT Taste of Yaletown Menu”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

We stopped here for a casual brunch today (3rd week of Oct) & found they are participating in the annual Taste of Yaletown. $35 for a three course meal that read pretty good with a great view of the marina. Well it wasn't just "pretty good" - it was excellent. Both taste & presentation were well done. Definitely will return for the simpler fare I saw served around us - but our extravagant lunch was perfect for an anniversary meal. I loved the greens, goat cheese, pear, carrots & beats salad with a very tasty vinaigrette. My companion preferred his appetizer - giant tuna-based California roll with a tempura wrap. He liked the snapper & risotto. I would say it wasn't a true risotto (wrong kind of rice, not creamy - but tasty). I far preferred my sirloin wrapped in stuffing wrapped in turkey, with sweet potatoes, green beans, mashed root veggies & gravy. And the desserts: one was a poached pear in puff pastry with honey sauce & filberts - the other was fruit crepes & deep fried ice cream with chocolate sauce & nuts.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed October 15, 2012 via mobile

Great location. On a nice sunny day the patio is unbeatable. Relaxed atmosphere. Agree with some of the other reviewers, brunch is amazing (west coast Benny was delicious).

Menu has a nice variety. Definitely recommend it.

“Great spot for brunch”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

Go while the sun is still glistening on the water in False Creek and sit outside of the Hurricane Grill for their weekend brunch. You won't be disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere are all great, prices reasonable and view to die for. It's a nice way to end off the week on a Sunday afternoon.

“Not French (wrong restaurant category- maybe confused with Provence Marinaside nearby), nice patio, absolutely unremarkable food”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

Fine for breakfast, mainstream to boring menu, lackluster service. Better water views, engaged service + more interesting food elsewhere in Vancouver.
