This is probably my favourite restaurant/cafe selling Malaysian-style noodles. The place reminds me of a Chinese Malaysian coffee shop, unpretentious, plain and simple. The price is also coffee shop prices, i.e.very cheap when compared with other restaurants and cafes in town. The quality of the food is average to good, depending on the item. My favourite is the mee rebus (as far as I know this is about one of the few places in Vancouver where you can find this dish). The gado-gado and the flour fritters are also good. Besides the usual char keow teoy, mee goreng, curry laksa, etc. there are also rice dishes such as curry rice, chicken rice, fried rice.
To all Malaysians/Singaporeans visiting, after you are in Vancouver for a while and are craving for some familiar food, this place is well worth a visit. Just take the Skytrain to Main Street, change to No. 3 Main-Marine Station bus and get off at the King Edward Ave stop.
