Check-in was easy, the owner let us leave our bags as our flight was in early. We were cold and wanted some Pho, with help from the owner we were directed a couple of blocks away and were not disappointed. The condo is nice, its a little tight compared to what we are used to but after all it is Vancouver. It is nice to have a full kitchen. Queen size beds were good and comfortable. Views were very nice with floor to ceiling windows and a small balcony. Only complaint is that the condo is very bright in the mornings and we had wanted to sleep in a bit, blackout blinds in the bedrooms would be a nice touch. All and all we had a great time, location could not be much better, and the high floor kept the street noises to a minimum.
The appartment is rented out by an owner who doesn't live there anymore and the property is rented out via sites like Agoda, booking.com and Airbnb.
When I arrived the appartment was double booked and I couldn't spend the night there and had to look for other accomodation. Verry annoying and I didn't get any message in advance; there was just nobody there.
To be fair after an angry phonecall the owner made sure I got my money back but nevertheless imho I think this accomodation shouldn't be rented out to tourists at all.
It's a privatly owned appartment in a normal residential building and by renting out residential appartments fulltime to tourists you're making it impossible for regular Vancouverites to get affordable housing and by using this service as a tourist you are stimulating this pratice.
Furtermore it is very annoying for the people who live in such a building; they want to live next to real neighbours not hotelguests.
Our stay at "Where the action is" Was exactly that!
Perfectly located to check out the downtown area, as well as Yaletown, across the street from grocery and liquor stores, surrounded by all manner of places to eat. We were in heaven, and being on the 11rh floor, had great views from every window!
The condo was clean, bright and inviting. Our host, Aura, was wonderfully accommodating.
My husband and I just stayed in this beautiful 2 bed/2 bath high rise condo on Robson street. The condo was beautifully appointed and very comfy. Everything was well maintained and immaculate. We enjoyed having a full kitchen so we could do breakfast/coffee in the morning and wine/snacks in the afternoon. Starbucks downstairs and an IGA grocery store right across the street-very convenient. The unit has underground parking and is secure/safe. We didn't have a car but walked everywhere or took Uber/cabs. We did pay for the hop on/hop off bus so we could get the "lay of the land". Vancouver is a beautiful city with lots to do, great shopping and great restaurants so we really enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend-- great condo for two couples or a family.
Although I made this booking for a business trip, this condo is ideally located for any time being spent in Vancouver - right on Robson Street, steps away from restaurants and shopping. It overlooks the iconic Public Library and is only a couple blocks away from Yaletown. Aura was great to deal with for the bookings and everything was incredibly easy. The condo itself is on the smaller side (typical downtown living) but perfectly comfortable and complete with all amenities. I would definitely book here again!
Our family of four had a great stay in an apartment that's modern, kept clean and well equiped. All downtown attractions are within walking distance, such as Rogers Arena, Yaletown, Gastown, Pacific Center shopping, etc. Having a kitchen, laundry, wifi and coffee machine were much appreciated. Our host, Aura, was very helpful and fast with any requests we made. Thanks Aura. Vancouver is a beautiful city and staying here helped us enjoy it more.
We love this condo. It is our second time there and it is so cozy. It is just like being at home with all the comforts. The location is amazing! Aura was so helpful and made staying there a joy.
