“Where's the long line-up?”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

As I recalled several years ago there would be a line-up at both location on Burrard for about 50 meters long! But this time no more line up! Reason is they open a sit down location on Robson. The hot dogs are still the same, but missed the crowds!

“A pricy but delicious "hot dog"?”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

An unusual Japanese take on a staple of North American Cuisine! I really thing a Japadog is worth the price to try at least once.

“Overpriced, but ya gotta try it”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

We ate here as part of a food truck tour, and returned to have another lunch. The hot dogs are outstanding, but the price -- well, I won't go back. The price was that of a sit down restaurant -- and as good as they are, they are just hot dogs.

Try one once; split one with a friend. It is a good experence (I doubt I'll find a place for seaweed on a hot dog again), but after signing my credit card from the food truck -- ouch. I don't think I'll do it again.

“Big and Juicy Hot-Dog”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

There are lots of choices you can find, from vegetarian to meat lovers. The proportion of every ingredient is perfect. Freshly made hot-dogs make you want to have another one. The waiting time is about 10-15 minutes. The shop is not too big so you need to find a nice place to wait for the food. Being a fast food shop, it has good decoration and atmosphere for friends' chat.

“Anthony Bourdain isn't wrong!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

If us locals are lining up you know you have something! Everything you thought you wanted and more! I've been to 26 countries and hands down this is the best "hot dog" cart going. Various locations around the city and each one has a slightly different menu. You'll see a lot of stuff you never knew existed. Can't make up your mind.... try the Kurobuta Terimayo or Sakana (Fish Sausage). See you there!
