This may become one of my favorite business hotels. The room was modern, but highly functional. Service was very efficient and room service was excellent. I have stayed at most of the high-end hotels in Vancouver and this is my favorite.

Great rooms and wonderful staff made the perfect start to our Canadian trip. The chauffeur driven Bentley and driver Jim were a wonderful touch and a free and stylish way of getting around central Vancouver. Kids loved the indoor pool with constantly changing coloured lighting. The hotel is as central as you can get.

Breakfast in Hawksworth a little pricey and dinner there a little too coffee shop style for what is billed as a Premier restaurant. Could not fault, however the service and food quality. Loads of other eateries nearby.

From the moment we drove up we felt like the entire staff was dedicated to making our visit perfect. It certainly helped that the room was roomy and decadently comfortable. As a final touch, we had casually mentioned that we wee headed for Victoria. When we went outside, our car was waiting, luggage loaded, printed directions to the Tswaassen ferry terminal on the wheel and two bottles of water in the cup holders. What else can we say.

Room Tip: Deluxe room on the 12th floor.

Our stay at the Hotel Georgia was outstanding. The property is beautiful, stylish, and well-maintained. The lobby is filled with beautiful, fresh flowers. The staff: excellent. Extremely efficient, helpful, and friendly. A shout out to Jim, the driver, for his outstanding service. The hotel car will drop you at nearby attractions and restaurants. Rooms: outstanding. Quiet, elegant, pristine. Pool: amazing! The Georgia is pricey but I've paid more or near at other hotels and have never had this 'perfect' hotel experience. I can't think of one negative. Well, the only negative is that I'm sure I will be disappointed with my hotel stay at any other hotel besides The Hotel Georgia!

My fiance and I stayed here for 5 nights over Christmas just for a getaway. The hotel is very stylish, with 1920's charm and modern amenities. Rooms are very cozy, with incredibly comfortable beds and huge bathrooms (with heated floors - something I didn't know to want until now!). In fact, all of the hotel's facilities are stylish and functional. The lobby and lobby bar were great to look at as well as inviting and comfortable, and the fitness facility and pool were the same - everything had an old elegance (but there was no "aging" to the hotel) with a modern twist.

The service is very, very good. Helpful and attentive concierges who offered umbrellas and good lunch suggestions in a snap (including Matthew, who also arranged several dinners for us - and in particular helped make suggestions for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner, and knew exactly what would be open and who was only offering fixed menus!), a delightful bar staff at the lobby bar (Joe and Vanessa were especially nice to speak with and offered good ideas of where to go and what to do), and housekeeping who snuck in and out like a ghost (we never actually saw anyone) twice per day to clean at the beginning, and then for turn-down service in the evenings, which included cookies and bottled waters (the latter, a life saver considering the amount of drinking we did in the 1927 bar).

Hawksworth is also well-worth a trip. The food was some of the best of our trip, and the atmosphere is pretty sexy without trying too hard.

Everything was just really great here. We had no complaints. We just relaxed, swam in a neat indoor pool, drank a lot, wandered around Vancouver and slept in. The hotel is also very centrally located if you want to go to other things, but we actually spent quite a lot more time in the hotel than we thought we would. If we're ever in Vancouver again, I doubt we'd consider staying anywhere else.

The recently renovated hotel has an upscale feel with ultra friendly staff. The location is ideal for shopping and access to restaurants. Also being downtown it was only a short walk to the office.

Everyone was of the staff was extremely courteous and always addressed us by name. The room had an interesting layout with a great view of the Vancouver art centre.

Highly recommend this location.

This is the finest hotel experience I have ever had. This is a first rate, top drawer fabulous establishment that excels in the littlest details. We travelled with our pudgy pug and the staff could not have been sweeter, kinder and more welcoming to her. The food is EXCEPTIONAL. Hawksworth Restaurant on premises is world class....don't just take my word for it. Oh...and the Pool with the glass bottom that changes color while you swim! Never got a chance to check out the amazing spa this time. Caring, committed staff all around. Even if you're fortunate enough to live in Vancouver....indulge in a night!
