“Support the local fishermen!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2013

Yes, it is situated in a parking lot, but it overlooks the mountains, the harbour and the modern city of Vancouver, so it's a pleasure to be there.
Operating out of a container, your order is cooked freshly for you. There are exotic daily specials as well as the standards. You can have your fish and seafood grilled or fried. And it is very reasonably priced, but it tastes like it would cost you a lot more in a restaurant.
There's also fresh fish for sale off the boats just below.

“Delicious Fish Consumed in a Parking Lot”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

Go Fish doesn't really exist. The "restaurant" is a trailer and a few benches in a parking lot close to the entrance to Granville Island. But this little kitchen turns out some incredible fish. Fish and Chips your choice whether cod, salmon or halibut. Grilled fish sandwiches, and fish tacos. The fish is fresh, you can buy fresh catch at the dock adjacent to the diner. There always seems to be a crowd and your meal is prepared after your request. Go Fish is not so easy to find. As you are standing on the causeway to enter Granville Island [facing the island] follow the path to you left the runs along the water. Maybe about 100 yards you'll see a line entering a parking area. Great ready for really great fish...you're there. If you call in an order it can be ready when you get there.

“For fish and chips, this the place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

I had the best fish and chips in a long time. The chips are 'real' and the cod was battered. A 2 piece cod dinner with chips sitting right on the water, what more can you want. The place was called Go Fish and not only has cod but various other fish on the menu. The fish was perfect a nice white flaky fish covered in a light batter and deep fried, then served in a steamer basket how novel. It wasn’t too greasy and the chips were real potatoes. We were there at lunch time and there was a constant line for food. There are tables and chairs outside on a small patio and other seats along the water.
You have to wait for your food to be cooked which was a good sign for me, it is worth the wait.

“Amazing Halibut & chips and yummy coleslaw”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

This is the best place for fish in chips I have found in Vancouver so far. The little trailer attracts crowds, there is a patio or you can find a spot to sit on the dock or along the sea wall. The seasoning on the coleslaw is delicious. There are also a few parking spots outside the restaurant but otherwise easily accessible from Granville Island, walk or bike in.

“Best Fish & Chips!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

We've stood in the lines, rain or shine, for what I consider some of the best fish anywhere. Depending on your mood and appetite, you can go cod, halibut, or salmon. Enough said; this place by the bridge at Granville Island is "the bomb."
