“I try to go here every time I'm in Vancouver.”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

And, you'll find out why....

Located right off of Granville Island, it's a convient stop on a walk around the waterway. They have outdoor seating only, but covered places for the rainy Northwestern conditions. It is best on a sunny day, of course; where you can go find a place nearby to sit and stare at boats and downtown vancouver.

The food I love, that they serve:
* Fish Chowder
* Fish Tacos
* Fish Sandwiches
* Fish 'n' Chips <-- some of the best I've ever had.

You will get great food for great prices.

Tip: If you are hungry and can get there right when they open (11:30 am Tues-Sun), you will beat the inevitable crowds.

“Great fish and chips”
Reviewed February 18, 2012

A very simple model done very well. I was at the Go Fish on fisherman,s Wharf. Yes it is a tin shack and you do sit outside, but it is very worth it for some of the best fish and chips I have had for a while.

“No nonsense fish and chips”
Reviewed February 4, 2012

Great location near the entrance of Granville Island. Affordable fish and chips that are tasty and fresh, fresh, fresh! Only drawback is that the secret is out and expect long line-ups.

“New Location - same great food”
Reviewed February 2, 2012

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Go Fish has a new storefront location on West Broadway. As a frequent visitor to Vancouver, the Go Fish outdoor location at Fisherman's Wharf was always a favourite stop for lunch. I've been to their new location twice now and it's an even better experience... a cozy bistro style location with the same great food. This week I had a bowl of Halibut Chowder in a Chardonnay-cream broth and a scallop burger served with perfectly cooked fries and their signature slaw. A $5 glass of J Lohr Chardonnay was an unexpected bargain and the perfect compliment

“The one at Fisherman's Wharf is better than the restaurant on Granville Street.”
Reviewed January 22, 2012

The location at Fisherman's Wharf always delivers. The food is fresh, hot (if that's what you ordered) and tasty. The portion sizes are excellent and service is always friendly. There are a couple of tables to sit at and several barstools to sit and look at the boats in the harbour while you eat. This is a great place to bring the kids as there is always something to look at while you are eating. The only drawback is that it is difficult to find seats so we always take a stroller. We order our food and then walk up a ways to sit at benches along the seawall and eat there and the kids are in contained seats in their stroller. Very important for everyone's sanity. Go Fish is a nice thing to do on a summer's day.

In terms of the restaurant on Granville & Broadway, don't bother. The food isn't half as good. The service is lacklustre at best. We waited quite a long time for our food so it's not a good thing to do when you have a limited amount of time for lunch like I do during work hours. I've gone here twice and was disappointed both times. Probably never will again.
