Picture this. This place is like a shelter from a cold and bitter world outside. We stopped by for dinner. Sat by the fire. Ordered a bottle of wine. Ordered dinner. Wonderful, delicious salads. Warm, comforty food. Tasty desserts. Conversation. Conviviality. It's the real deal. BUT we felt that all the food in the main courses was over-salted. We mentioned it in passing to our server and the manager, or some such official, came by to make a special point to say that no one else had mentioned anything, so perhaps the food was fine. The one off-note in an otherwise wonderful meal. I'll go back, though!
