“Great West Coast Beach”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

If you want to walk, cycle, surf anytime, this is a great beach to visit just outside the National Park (and don't forget the Wickininish Inn on the beach)

“A walk on the beach”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Chestermans beach is popular for surfing and for just walk along. One of the many reasons it is popular, it does not cost you anything to park there. Were as if you go to Long Beach, this is in the Park and there is a fee. Chesterman Beach is a wonderful place to watch the sun set. In the summer, when we get the very low tides, you can walk out too one of the small islands. But be careful as the tide changes quickly and you could find yourself traped on the Island, or wade through some very cold water to get back to the main beach. Again a very popular beach to go surfing on.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

Beautiful beach with 2 connections of water that you can walk out to an island when it's low tide. Beautiful washed up drift wood. Not much good beach combing and you have to pay for parking.

“Dramatic”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

Rented one of the cabins on Frank Island just off Chesterman Beach and was truly breathtaking. The area has a wild, untouched beauty. We made it to our cabin over a sandspit at low tide and were cabin-bound at other times where we sat and watched whales and birds from our patio and had a panoramic view of Chesterman Beach.
Can't say I'd return to this area as there are too many wonderful places to see and so little time the Chesterman Beach area is breathtaking.
